You can certainly fit three plants in flower in a 3x3 (depending on their size obviously), but a 4x4 is a more practical size if you have the room and cash. A 4x4 will fit four 5 gallon plants easily, where a 3x3 can be tight.
I might have to do a 4x4 cause my 3 chocs are in 10 gallon bags and are already almost 3ft tall (including bag height). Pretty sure they won't fit in a 3x3 (LOL). I'm now looking at a Mars grow tent kit that comes with a TWS 2000. The flowering foot print on that is only 3x3 so I expect I'll eventually need to get a supplement light if I want to use the entire space.

When I my seeds got mixed up in early April, I tagged this one as Misc 1. At this time I'm going to call it as the ONLY Critical Purple that survived my initial learning curve. And it looks like she's ready (or almost?). Her bottom buds still have pistils so not sure if I could harvest the top and let those simmer some more. Can't wait to try my first harvest in 20-30 days! (Pardon what I assume are cat hairs in my buds. Grrh)

Tell me @InTheShed what do you think/know about adding H2o2 to that mixture to wash the buds?In the past I’ve never been big on washing buds but I have had such an issue with gnats I want to make sure I clean my smoke as well as possible.

I use H2O2 to wash my harvests rather than the baking soda/lemon juice method, but it's really because of the PM and bugs that I get on my plants. I mix it anywhere from 1:1 to 1:3 with tap water depending on how bad the issues are with the plant. I don't use 5 gallon buckets though and my colas aren't an arm's length!

It can get expensive though in big buckets, and most folks do fine with the baking soda/lemon juice wash, so that's what I recommend. Gnats wouldn't need the H2O2 as they don't live on the plant.

Ty Shed/Nev. I found a tiny worm on a sugar leaf and it freaked me out. I've done a complete check to see if there's others. I don't see any using close up view, but the nugs are dark so hard to tell. Hope I don't have rot.

That is much higher then I had anticipated it to be. I’m almost embarrassed to say that I was thinking more like a couple oz’ s for a bucket. I thought I saw some PM yesterday so I may need the H2o2

If it's coming down soon, don't worry about it. If it's a ways from harvests, you might want to get some Spinosad spray. Takes care of caterpillars and other bugs as well.

You can only use it 6x per growing season though. BT spray from Monterey will work on caterpillars only as another option.
Do the pics I posted above give any indication of how long? I read the best time is when trichomes are about 20% turning amber.

Amber represents the degradation of THC to CBN, which is the cannabinoid responsible for couch lock or body stone. If that's not a trait you want in your harvest then 20% would be way too much.

Beyond that, when to harvest is a balance between clear (unripe) trichomes, cloudy (peak THC) trichomes, and amber (degraded/over-ripe) trichomes. As you wait for the clear to get cloudy, some of the cloudy go amber!

you need a 1% citric acid spray.
I went and picked up some Fungicide with sulfur today. I haven’t used it yet but I’m closely watching. I hope it wasn’t PM. I’ve used sulfur products in the past on a bad case and it took forever but did get it out. I’ve no knowledge of citric acid spray what is a good one.

I edited to take out brand names and photo

The best one is homemade! It's just regular citric acid from the baking aisle and distilled water, with about 12 pipette drops of dish soap mixed in.

Here is my recipe (scale up or down as needed):
5g food grade citric acid
500ml distilled water
12 pipette drops dish soap (or if you prefer, some amount of yucca or aloe as a surfactant)

That's it! Spray the whole plant and pull the buds away from the stems to spray in there too, since a lot of PM grows in the tight spaces.
