What is the likelihood of an auto that's starting to preflower to turning into a monster? I'd love it, but wouldn't expect it.

An auto isn't in pre-flower until you see the new top growth get the long skinny leaves that almost look like pistils as they come out but aren't, so maybe there's still time!

When we use LST on baby plants, the leaves get really close to the soil and my experience with tomatoes is that is not a good thing if the soil is wet. Does this matter so much with cannabis or should I remove the ties to pull it off them off the soil when watering?

Also, my grow room is also my remote work office. My preflowering girls have a very strong smell. It's my house so I don't have privacy issues, but sitting here for hours has my eyes dried out with a sleepy feeling. is that psychological or perhaps terpenes at work?

I use smooth stones placed on the soil to keep the leaves off. Not sure about the terpenes causing tiredness and dry eyes, but I'd just open a window!

I'm very sad. I had my 2 new GSCs propped on books to give them lights. I went to reach around GSC 3 and she fell over and all of her fell out. I had just brought her in from watering/1 hour outside. I put her back in her home as best I could, but who knows if she'll come back. I think she might be dead?

If the trunk broke off the roots then it's done for, but you'll know tomorrow. They can be pretty resilient.

Take comfort in the fact that many many others have been there, not to mention those while have dropped lights and fans on theirs!

Update:
Most of the baby withered away, but before I held the funeral, I noted two little leaves that look like something might still be alive. It grew by a tiny amount since yesterday so I put it under the light and humidity and maybe she'll decide to stay alive.

Last week I was hoping to get the larger plants a bit hardened off, but temps in high 80s and 90s put a damper on that plan - leaving them out for more than an hour even in shade had effects on the leaves. This week temps will be even with a few hot days. Hopefully able to get them out by end memorial day weekend.

I'm running out of light!!!
