Wow Jam! Those look great....and promising for me! I am very hopeful on this now that I read the time frame of your revegging.
I'll try to get a close up on the new leaf (s) tonight after work. It's so hard to tell anything on the ones under LED, the color is confusing. LOL
I will put one under a CFL when I take the pic so I can see it clearly on color etc.

That's great Canna! I still have a ways to go, so bear with me in the journal process. Funding was an issue but I start up work in Feb & I'm gonna buy, buy, buy. I can't wait to start growing! Until then, I'm enjoying your "bud porn" as 420 would say..LOL

Good to know Jay! I won't disable the bubble cloner, I will still use it when I am not in a hurry for the clones to root. LOL I don't want these clones I have to be too far behind their siblings in growth, so if I can speed it up a bit that would work out great.
These rapid rooters were rather expensive at my local hydro shop. Probably should have ordered them from fleabay.

They aren't cheap of fleebay or cramazon but I did order them...........

Canna, those videos are cool! Time laps videos are so fun to watch. It's crazy to think about how small the seed is verses how big these things get. It's amazing, I mean where does all that plant come from? It's like magic

Okay, I have a serious plant question.
Is it possible for a particular seed to produce a plant that is likely to hermie on you in flower??
I found one turned hermie on me in the flower area. This same thing happened in the first grow and this a clone from that first grow.
I'm thinking this clone is from the other hermied plant, it was taken before going to flower but had shown female sex.
So, could it just be the seed??

I obviously don't know from experience but I have read off of this forum that if you clone a plant that is a hermie that you do have a much greater chance of the clone doing the same thing.... Don't take this as definitive but I think I read it in one of don.pauls journals. Please don't hold me to that but I think that is who it was but I do remember thinking it was credible info at the time I read it.... Wow that was real helpful huh....

Each seed has it's own genetic road map. If it is a clone from a plant that went hermie on ya, it has the exact same genetics as the plant you took it from. It has hermie traits. The seed is a genotype/phenotype that leads to hermaphrodism.

Phenotype; This is the "outward, physical manifestation" of the organism. These are the physical parts, the sum of the atoms, molecules, macromolecules, cells, structures, metabolism, energy utilization, tissues, organs, reflexes and behaviors; anything that is part of the observable structure, function or behavior of a living organism.

Genotype: This is the "internally coded, inheritable information" carried by all living organisms. This stored information is used as a "blueprint" or set of instructions for building and maintaining a living creature. These instructions are found within almost all cells (the "internal" part), they are written in a coded language (the genetic code), they are copied at the time of cell division or reproduction and are passed from one generation to the next ("inheritable"). These instructions are intimately involved with all aspects of the life of a cell or an organism. They control everything from the formation of protein macromolecules, to the regulation of metabolism and synthesis.

The good news is that it didn't go hermie due to stress. The plant was born that way. It wasn't your fault.

It just amazes me that they can start out female and hermie within days for no reasons that I did.....and I can't get the genetics/pheno thing to be believable to me in my head. It will sink in....when I haven't been eating no bake cookies.

I guess the lesson learned is - when you take clones make sure you know what plant they came from so you can send the clones to that happy place where all MJ plants go when they die at the same time as you send their mother to weed plant heaven.

Question on seedling lighting:
How soon would you put your seedlings under a light after they break soil, what kind of light (watts or lumens or CFL ratings), and on what light schedule?

I put them under light pretty much right away when that happens. I use a 190w LED light made by Lush Lighting, and we already talked I like to run an 18-6 light cycle. but I also have my light pretty far away from seedlings so its not too intense too early
