I hate spider mites Why can't that worm eat them instead of the poor little leaf!!
I made this organic spray that is suppose to be safe to use even in flower and it didn't leave any damage on the plant so guess it's safe.
Here's how it goes:
Chopped up around 5 big and very spicy peppers (were the green long type, don't know english name) plus some green peppercorn, mixed with around 500ml of water and almost brought it to a boiling point while stirring this concoction (didn't boil the thing). After it cooled off (with a plate cover for infusion purposes) I strained it and put it in my sprayer and applied a good ocd amount everywhere. Have I mentioned I hate spider mites!?!?...
Well don't know how good it did, but haven't seen anymore damaged leafs, so think it worked. Guess can't hurt to try since it's not gonna cause any damage to the plant.
Hope it helps in any way!

I spotted that sun of a gun on the first picture, Canna...GRRRR, you are my hero because you keep moving forward and persevere....after I spent weeks swabbing down my grow rooms from the PM, I popped spendy seeds from a reputable breeder with only a 50% germ rate; these plants developed spider mites so I bought some products but ended up shit canning the plants anyway....but am armed right now with some good products that I think I will start using on a regular basis for preventative measures...
Then an angel from heaven appeared who had been messing with breeding sent me about 150 seeds that I am beginning to pop in rock wool currently...lord have mercy on me...every day is a learning experience and it humbles me and I am hanging on new and improved....meanwhile I just keep accumulating more patients, so I am the weakest link....me, with the hort degree and the 1000's of plants I have put in the landscape around here with a death rate on less than one hand....go figure....
Anyway, want you to know that you are the reason that I tell myself that I can do this and just don't quit...so thank you for that, you have faced it all this summer......REPS!
The freebie seeds I was gifted are feminized Darkstar for oil and an Amnesia/Darkstar cross.....
Yes, Canna, what a difference a day makes...from 90 to 60....huge...time for a trip to the cider mill....
Had to come check on the Wildlings. Good grief your busy over there.
But we all know you'll keep fighting the good fight to the end.Yes, I get real close to surrender.
So, while I was in the garage grow I spotted a lower leaf on one of the plants that looked pretty bad:
Closer inspection, thinking I had spider mites, showed tiny worm castings and a small silk web.
I searched with that loupe for a long time and finally found this less than 1/2" long inchworm. The amount of damage to one leaf for that little bugger was incredible:
The first picture shows the critter, but I did not see it at the time. ;-)
{{sigh}} the critters will never end.
You may know better, but I don't think that is spider mites. I think that is inchworm poop caught in a spider web, and the spider left after web destruction.
The pattern on leaves looks caterpillar, not spider mites and other leaves would be just spotty. When 80% eaten by spider mites, my leaves look spray painted with white dots, not chewed in bulldozer trails.
I've never had any issues with migraine and led, I suffer from cluster headaches but I've always got glasses on when the door is open. Looking forward to your photo bomb. You take some of the best pics I see.
Look up roman ancient remedies . Google.
