Cannafan's Perpetual Grow - Where Everything Changes - Autos - Photos - Seeds & More!

Re: Cannafan's Perpetual Grow - Where Everything Changes - Autos - Photos - Seeds & M

Sparkling Gloria looks superb :thumb:

Do you usually give the Ladies a little sun or is this a new for 2016?

During the summer I like to take them outside for a day before chop. Mostly so I can get daylight pictures, but also to just give them fresh air. :)

Forgot to say, Gloria is being grown for Supergroomer as a tribute for the memorial grow for Tim.

Here's what is left in Flower inside:
All three are custard cream clones. Left to right, CeeCee planted 3-12, unamed on 4-10, and then the one in full budding I can't remember, it's Ms fussy "Thea". Would have to go back and check the dates on her.

These two plants are from the same mother plant, the one on the left was cloned on 3-12 and the other on 4-10. The left one is in a pot about twice the size of the other, who is in the fabric pot. Look at the difference in the plants.

I think that the light penetration is much better in my previous experience with the Mars Hydro and the Budmaster unit. This Smart grow light just didn't cut for me in that area. Even with keeping the lower bud sites open, they didn't seem to develop and take on the maturity look of the upper foliage and buds. JMHO

I may just retire that light unless I really need it for something later.

Here's the graft girl, I have started LST on her. The male base has stopped producing any pollen sacs, so I can relax a little while on that.

I need to name her....can't come up with a thing. LOL

The D. Earth worked like a charm, I did not find a single critter on the plant. So, I need to read the instructions for how often to apply it.
The white areas you see on the leaves is the powder. It also killed off the worms that were destroying my grape leaves.

You are talking treatments with D. Earth right? If so, that's what I did with all of the outsiders so far. I need to order more, I used a lot on those grape leaves...they were attacked. LOL

For the Lady Boy 'Lola' springs to mind :circle-of-love:

I think my Autos will start getting their final days in the fresh air by an open window :thumb:

Could the Male plant at the bottom just have finished? Given all he had to give?

I love the name! Absolutely perfect. {{singing}} L o L a...lo o la....girls will be boys and boys will be girls....

LOLA it is!

The male plant actually "fruited" twice. Hopefully it won't do a third.

Okay, this should catch me up with the updates. Here's the seedling clones and vegging clones.

These are handling training well. I had to move the MH light up, they were starting to lighten on the top leaves.

The seedlings are doing well, I think I'll be planting them this week. There is a small stunted one toward the back, she was the one that fell on the carpet. Not sure she's going to make it, but I'll give her time.

Re: Cannafan's Perpetual Grow - Where Everything Changes - Autos - Photos - Seeds & M

You have go some wonderful looking goings on there :high-five: how tall are the youngsters and how far above is your light? I've got an MH and have never grown from seed with it before, please :passitleft: :thankyou:

Where is the injury on the jumper?

Re: Cannafan's Perpetual Grow - Where Everything Changes - Autos - Photos - Seeds & M

Hi AJ, the little ones are about 4" tall now, and spreading their wings a bit. I'm going to top these as well, right around the 4th node.
The light is about 14" inches above the bigger plants now, and about 12" from the seedlings. I just lift one end higher.
These weren't grown from seed, but I have done lots of them from seed under the MH. No troubles.

The jumper was pretty weak at the root area, I'm afraid something may have not been able to make a decent repair. But I'll give it my best shot. I didn't want to fill the soil past the original exposed stem, I did that once on a really young seedling and it keeled over and died right at that added soil area. Once bitten.....

Why thank you wild man! Do you have anything growing currently? If not, are you going to be starting another when you're all better and healed up?

Thanks for coming by, always a pleasure to see you.

When you get to your new house, when will you start your first grow? And will you have a dedicated room for growing that is better than the old place for you? You must be soooo excited, as well as the rest of the family.

:circle-of-love:

The new house is a new state and a new neighborhood. The neighborhood association is built around a 20 year effort to recover old victorians from neglect and reclaim a dangerous area through gentrification. Staying in line with the laws is one thing, staying in line with the curious/nosy neighborhood is another thing. We are going to have to be cunning about starting up a grow. Learn a bit about how the neighborhood works: who watches where and when for what. Do they publish comparisons between you and your neighbor on electrical usage? Will we be the newest heavy electrical user?

My wife has some outdoor garden plans. I have indoor and outdoor garden plans. The light is blinking yellow. As we approach a busy neighborhood that flashing yellow means stop. Once our neighbors see us and recognize us as neighborhood seed harvesters and backyard dirt diggers, maybe even get a taste of a January harvest tomato, we can proceed with caution.
