It's a good thing I have a big screen T.V. and a control board with Ctrl plus + hit several times, yep I think I see two?

You sure do!
I'm thinking I'll just snip those two out of there and leave it be.

I'm wondering.....and I think this has happened during the cold basement grow oh so long ago, whether the colder temps didn't push the plant to grow those nanners.

It's certainly not completely harvest ready based on the multitudes of white fresh pistils, so it's not like it has gone beyond time and forced itself to self preserve by pollinating itself. Having a male in the area wouldn't have made nanners on her, she would have started seeding instead.
Maybe the shift from the warmer air down there to cold fooled the plant into thinking it was time?

I hope you all understand what I mean there. Harvest time in the wild is actually during cooler months, October-ish. Right?

I totally worry about that sometimes as my closet that holds the flower tent can drop below 60 often and the floor is always that cold. You may be onto something.

I had a great joke about the cold temperatures and boy parts but determined it to be unsuitable to general consumption.

Cannafan, you said you don't know the strain? That is so pretty that I would grow it just for its looks. Congratulations. Dan

This is kinda off topic of growing....but not really when the plants are suffering cold temps.....and this is such an incredible relief here....

The new circuit board for the furnace arrived a day early, I installed it.....and MOMMA'S GOT HEAT!!!

Now I'm imagining Kramer filling his apartment with cannabis that he and Newman are going to sell on Newman's postal route.

That's not off topic -- that's an essential element of growing! Also keeping the grower happy and warm :) Congrats!

Your issue was real, mine was doh!

Power failure on Saturday and I reset the veg light timer(manual) but did not check the veg space heater (digital.) 61-66 F over the last 24 hours, so everyone will survive.

Re: Cannafan's Perpetual Grow - Where Everything Changes - Autos - Photos - Seeds & M

Lo everyone had power failure. I had one for 16 hours but my babies are still young only 3 weeks old. Had rest my timer also. Sucks. But it happens.

So sorry about those power outages guys! Glad they are fixed too. :)

Can anyone give a "best" for humidity levels when Hanging/drying buds?

I've seen 65% RH quoted elsewhere (in about 65F temps) for a hanging room -- so that you get a long slow dry before you start the cure. The last time I dried I used a cardboard box and just monitored the RH in the box until the hanging branches got down to the cure zone of 60-65% when I jarred them. It took much less than a week for me :)

Thanks Glimmer, I find that the conditions weather wise here right now have been less than ideal on the humidity level. I looked at my thermometer a while ago to see 31% RH in the house. I need to get something in the closet to get that level up a bunch.

Yes

Hey Johnnycake! Can you check the oil tacking thread and see if you can help with a new member. The cancers seem to be right up your alley on knowledge.

Glimmer, yes...(LOL John) We need to dry and cure them.
Wispy buds I don't want, I'm afraid with the humidity so low that's what I'm gonna get. :)

Re: Cannafan's Perpetual Grow - Where Everything Changes - Autos - Photos - Seeds & M

I have the same problem in winter here. As soon as the plants are cut down the tent goes to about 30% RH. I just dry on the branch for a shorter period than most, just BEFORE the branches start snapping. Then I transfer to large jars or even better big air tight bowls that I can burp constantly. I have even seen people use the cigar humidifier disks to keep the bowl/jar etc right at 60% or so to slow cure them.

If I dry fully out in my room they just get way too brittle and dry and never really get that nice cured feel. Bouncy and dry.

:high-five:

Exactly Bob, I prefer to leave the "whispies" for Donald Trumps hair.

I'm gonna get some moisture in that room. Time to get the humidifier out of the basement.
