Cannafan's Adventures With Pollinating Master Kush X White Widow

I was just searching around you tube looking for people harvesting seeds from the plants. I just watched one that is really really loooong, and the guy had obviously done his medications before starting. I did find it interesting though.
So, I've decided when it's time to harvest...I'm going to video the process too. Should be very soon now based on what the seeds look like and what I've been coming across.

I took a look with a swing arm magnifier light at the Master Widower branch and there are about 20 seeds that I can see easily. Hopefully there are more hidden under all those sugary leaves. :yahoo:
A couple on top look as if they are brand new, very very green yet. Next week will be very interesting for sure.
I will attempt some pics in the morning, all depends on the work schedule and the plant light timing.

I'm curious, how are you gonna harvest the seeds? Just a few at a time that are ready, and keep the father plant going to produce more? How many seeds do you think you can get out of this plant? Looking forward to your results.;)

Hi Stealthgrow!
It's just one branch of a White Widow plant. I was thinking of letting it go another week after harvesting the female flowers off of it.
I'm not sure how many seeds I will get, I didn't put a whole lot of pollen on it. Next time I do this, I'm going to really work at more pollen.
I think my method for getting the majority of the seeds off will be a little pair of blunt nose tweezers so I can keep the bud intact and let the rest mature. It's going to be sticky in there. LOL One of the videos I watched the guy was feeling the bud with his fingers to find the seeds and that got really messy and was smashing up the bud.

Looks like it's ready to fall out of the calyx? Very Very soon now!

Yeah, on this grow area the trichs' on both plants are still clear. Will be checking daily now.
That is a cute bean....maybe I'll frame that one in a necklace magnifier charm like they do with pieces of rice that has fancy writing on it. :rofl::rofl:

Thanks so much Ajagunle, and yepper...still using the ever faithful elastic band loupe on the camera. LOL I always say.."If it works, leave it the heck alone" LOL I"m glad you are enjoying this process too.

You all make me smile, and after the battle I had tonight with the lil' wood rip-off dude....I needed it!! Supposedly will have my refund tomorrow morning. I will be in total shock if it happens. LOL That's all I will say on that!
 
Oh, I will be starting the flush on these two plants this week too. It's time! YEY! :cheertwo:

Hmmmm.....hadn't really thought on that. Good question. I'm going to pop around and see if there's any info on flushing male plants.

the beans will be on the pollinated female and your gonna flush that anyway
nothing will change on the beans
