Cannabis Oil Users Cafe & Lounge

re: Cannabis Oil Users Cafe & Lounge

I will say one thing on the cannabis oil cream, it's one hell of an effective anti-itch ointment for me.
I put it on a small area on the back of my leg that gets some kind of allergy thing going about once a year. Itches like crazy and forms little blister bubbles.
The itchiness is gone and the pain surrounding it has dwindled down nicely too.

OK, OK, OK Guess What.. I just went in to take my evening 8pm meds... I sort them in one of those stupid plastic "you take too many pills" containers... I hadn't taken my mid-day drugs and I haven't even noticed it...:yahoo: One of them is a blood pressure pill so I did check my BP and it is perfect....Sooo tomorrow we shall see if I can not take that pain pill intentionally and feel as good as I do today... and may try to skip the BP pill too... will check those numbers before that is attempted on purpose though.... I love me some CCO...:;):....:circle-of-love:

That BP thing has caught my interest recently, the Uncle with the diabetes suffers BP issues a lot. But he's on so damned many meds, blood thinners, BP meds...I won't go on. I don't want to go messing around with that. Looking forward to what you come back with.

For medical use only. Removing water from 151 Everclear for purer CCO extraction #1:

This process is simply removing water for purer medications. We are NOT making alcohol.

0:45 hour at about 45% power, I have drips of distillate from the mod-ed Megahome water still with temp control, plugged vent hole, and independent fan power. I could have powered up 100% until boil and distillate flow (10 minutes) and then backed the power down to 45%, but I wanted to see how long a 'gentle' boil would take at 45% from the start.
1:00 hour now at fast drip, at 45% power.
2:00 hours at 45% power, maintaining same fast drip (140-150/minute). Sampling.
2:00 hours from 45% power on...guessing 35% volume recovery so far at (just shy of) 180 proof (measured). Cool to touch...IDK how to compensate for temp! I'm close.
2:40 hours separated about 40% of original solvent at 180 proof. I'll use it to compare the second 'part' to the first in case of/to mitigate dilution at the end of the process.
3:00 hours at 45% power, maintaining same fast drip.
3:30 hours separated about 25% additional of the original volume of the alcohol at 178 proof and added to first part.
3:35 fast drip, 2/3 original volume recovered.
On paper, 3/4 volume should be all the alcohol in 151 original proof Everclear. And it would be if it were 200 proof I was extracting...but it's not...do the math boys and girls.
3:45 hours and drip at about 120/minute, down from about 150/minute max.
4:00 drip to 100/hr.
4:10 stopped process. Cut heat, collected distillate...168 proof/about another 15%.

Result: 1400ml @ 151 proof =====>distilled once @ 170 deg F.=====> 1100ml @ 176 proof.

21% loss of volume with a 13% increase in purity...one more time should give 4/5 ltr usable solvent near 190 proof.

Compare to: 200 proof KleenXtract, after two batches of oil making, is now 190 proof.
Where did this water come from, you ask?
I know, I know !!! :ciao:
Out of thin air.
Moist air, actually.
Soakes it up, I'm told. Who knew?

This process is simply removing water for purer medications. We are NOT making alcohol.

Removing water from 151 Everclear for purer CCO extraction #2:

Add non iodized salt to Everclear. Shake for 5 minutes. Let settle. Remove the upper layer with a turkey baster or carefully pour off. Save this part, it's the alcohol. The lower layer is saltwater. Water and alcohol are missive (they mix at any amount). Saltwater and alcohol are immissive (they do not mix). Just pluck out your part. Easy/peasy Petey! See YouTube for videos. It gets harder to separate the two the higher the proof goes. Luck and health.

If anyone performs a run with a hydrometer similar to what John did above, only with a standard non-modified water distiller, please post the results.
Thanks

re: Cannabis Oil Users Cafe & Lounge

Fabulous JohhnyCake! Great run down of the process and thank you so much for taking the time. :thanks:

I'm about to try out that little salt trick you mentioned. Nothing else to do right now, waiting for a propane truck. Cold toes here. LOL
I'll report back on what it does.

Ok D. So I don't have to hunt down every post you ever made, can you go over your dosing schedule with me? Are you just tacking? How often? Rice size amounts or more? I am trying to get my wife and I dialed in. :circle-of-love::Namaste::peace:

re: Cannabis Oil Users Cafe & Lounge

HI SG and all. :) Just a friendly reminder that anything specific in regards to dosing/making oil questions, we need to post it to the dedicated oil threads so others can benefit when they come here to search.
Thanks!

Please don't swat me........

( I just hate being a moderator. LOL)

Luv you all....Mean it!:circle-of-love:

Morning All.
I have the videos from the ECS Summit now. If you ordered them, maybe you can cancel still. They are electronic videos, the same that will be on the cd's.
They are on my Google Drive which I've not used before, but I'll get it figured out.

I'll get with a Mod & see if I can upload them to 420.

I sure hope they allow it Cajun! That live stream killed me on my data plan. That's why I couldn't watch the whole thing.

And,

A little reading in your spare time, Just in case some of you didn't see this:

The U.S. Government's Department Of Health Finally Admits That Marijuana Kills Cancer

Here's a clip:
Obviously with cancer as a major killer of Americans, its treatment is big business and even bigger money for the pharmaceutical industry and “treatment centers.” As many people have rightly suspected for years, the cure for cancer, or even a more effective and less-stressful treatment regimen, has been held hostage by powerful entities just so the pharmaceutical and hospital industry can continue to raking in hundreds-of-billions of dollars a year to “fight the disease” with radiation, pills, and numerous and endless surgical procedures. For example, on its own, the National Cancer Institute has taken in and spent over $90 billion allegedly trying to find a cure for cancer. The abomination is that the organization knew all along that a profuse amount of well-documented scientific studies proved that a 3,000 year-old “medicinal weed” any American could grow in their garden was effectively killing cancer cells, shrinking malignant tumors, and relieving the effects of the disease. Cannabis is also proven to reduce opioid (painkiller) usage by an average of 47% that drug companies could not allow to become common knowledge. It is likely why the reports that the NIH, Health Department, and National Cancer Center began advising of the weed’s benefits was only in British media, but not America.

Yesterday there was a White House email from Biden saying there was a cancer summit in a few hours and to send him testimonials - I replied that I hear of someone every week talking about how cannabis cured their cancer. And these are real people with real stories. If their summit does not talk about whole plant cannabis and cannabis essential oil treatments they they might as well send everyone home because it is a farce. It is a national disgrace that Medical Marijuana is not part of cancer treatment in the USA.

I remember myself being a little more elegant in my prose, but I do consider it a national disgrace and a criminal farce that cannabis essential oil (RSO,CCO) is not as available in pharmacies as birth control pills.

re: Cannabis Oil Users Cafe & Lounge

Circuit,

I tack a big booger of Harlequin cco/co every evening. In the mornings, or whenever I get out of bed and after my coffee and almonds (aka breakfast), I tack Tangie cco/co. I was given a jar of Harlequin cco/co a while back. The CCO actually had been cooked up for me when I had cancer. I used it then, but didn't ramp up as high as I should have. Anyway, there was a lot left over, and my provider (family member) had ideas and mixed it with CO. I filled up a bunch of capsules with it before I read about tacking here. Now I am convinced that tacking is the way to go, but I might be able to sneak the capsules places that maybe I couldn't with the CCO (especially if I coat them in chocolate first, don'tcha think?), or just ingest them if I can't tack for some reason. (I repeat: I do not ever want to be without my oils.)

Sue, what a great story. Did your friend ask if you were sure you didn't have just a wee bit with you?

I wouldn't do that Cannacar, and she knows me better than my husband of 35 years did, so she trusted me. She never asked. We have a very special relationship that goes back 36 years. I did spend my last afternoon with her daughter and her partner who introduced me to concentrates and the wonders of a vape pen. Sweet! Then my friend paid for my first massage. That woman pampered the hell out of me for seven weeks. She was worth the deprivation. She's also much more knowledgable about CCO and the curative potential of cannabis.

It was a good visit all round.

Oh, I totally agree with the statement on Birth control pills (as well as everything else)
I will never forget the shock on my Mother's face when the doctor that I went to for these pills told her I did not need parental permission to get them. I believe I was 16 at the time.
