I think a lot has to do with phenols
Also growing time and conditions

I sure hope everyone here can find genetics that treat and cure their afflictions without having to go thru years of testing

Can take quite along time to find "keepers"

So (hope I am not repeating posts lol) yesterday I decided to "tack" a Lil different

Seems the way I was applying the tack
15-20 later its either being injested or when I would spit Lil pieces of CCO would go down the drain.
I thought "more surface area" and decided to "smear tack" across my lower gum cheek side and it seemed to do a better job with less waste
I used a rice sized piece

I also used listerne mouthwash and made
Sure my gum was really dry
BTW the sour banana Sherbet tastes sooooo much better than the gorilla glue

Might be because it's flowers tested out with a lot of limonene terpenes like 4800 ppm

Lab technician said 2500 is off the charts

Happy Thanksgiving to those of you who celebrate

Happy Thanksgiving to you Hizzy. What a year you have ahead. :battingeyelashes:

The last few days I have taken off tacking twice a day like I had been and the reason for this is the Sour Banana Sherbert CCO is so strong and has more indica than I can handle during the day. It was really hard to stay awake during the day,
My Middle/Upper Back pain is alot worse than it has been and now Im thinking why not tack an hour before bed?

I will try it and let you all know.

Years ago I had a medtronic spinal cord stimulator installed (lol sheesh) in an attempt to control the constant pain and also to be able to get opiod free. The trial went well and I had the permanent unit placed. I didnt realize it was causing alot of pain as the pain meds were obviously blocking the pain from the "Paddle Leads" now that I dont take pain meds (bupronephrine is for maintenance, its also for pain in some countries but not prescribed for pain here) anyways the ultra low amount of opiods isnt enough to block the pain.

I am really worried and depressed with the likely outcome. The info research is showing that after some time the leads scar in and its permanent. its been over 5 years now.
What bums me out is the thought of having to get back on more traditional pain meds because of the leads.
Its hurting twice or more than the sciatica I suffer from.

Hopefully the neurosurgeon will give me the good news I am hoping for, if not hopefully the indicas I am growing will make cco that can control the pain..

Sorry for the negative vibes but I just gotta get it out and vent a little.

Thanks to those who made sure we have a place to communicate about things

I hear your frustration. Focus as much as possible on thoughts of being pain-free and then confidently move forward towards that eventual future. I believe it's there for you Hizzy, despite what appears before you. Life is filled with possibility and I refuse to believe that leaves out your dream of a life lived without debilitating pain.

I can't think of any reason why you shouldn't feel free to vent your frustrations here. Couldn't be a safer place to let it all out.

I don't read any negative vibes here. This is terrible, what you have to go through. Don't feel like a failure if you have to supplement traditional pain meds while this all gets worked out. There are people who truly need them.

Was there, by any chance, a recall of the leads on your Medtronic unit? Seems I read that the early units had issues with the leads and there may have been a recall.
Does it help or hinder you to turn it off completely?

I am pulling for that Indica for you, and I sure hope you get some relief from this. Please let us know how the tacking before bed works for you too. It helped me a lot with the stomach/intestinal pain, but that is so much different than spinal pain.

Healing thoughts are sent to you daily, whether you know it or not.

I really appreciate it sweetsue

It's really hard to think about being pain free when it's been a constant companion for almost 15 years

I'd sure live to show it the door lol
Take care

I really appreciate the love and concern, means the world to me.
I have not heard of any recalls but that doesn't mean it hasn't been. Hope not but with the way it's getting lately it wouldn't surprise me one bit, I will be getting an authorization to see the neuro.

I will try the nighttime tack again tomorrow evening
I have to be up bright and early and when I tried it last night I was very groggy this morning and prob could've slept on till noon.

The goal is to be pain free but I think a more realistic goal is less pain and pain med free.

I've been on very dangerous opioids for so long now it's time to be off if not for life for a good while
I can not really explain how long term (maybe short term use also) use of opioids absolutely changes your brains chemistry and wiring
Not good and I'm to the point I have to be off.
Maybe a few days after a surgery or injury but there's just no way I want anything to do with them at this point in my life, they're too devastating to my body and mind.

Sure hope the Neurosurgeon is able to safely remove them.
Thanks again everyone for being here for me and other "oil-heads" like myself

Hi everyone.

I am gifting my butter making device from plant of the month contest. I figured it better to give it to someone who will use it. I still jave one from member of the onth that was never used because it only runs on 110v nd we are 220/240 in europe.

I would prefer to give it to some one who really needs it as opposed to who wants it. Maybe a patient or caregiver.

Suggestions?

Thanks

I harvested over an ounce of really nice dry sift keif
I plan on making some CCO and then I'll take it to the lab so we can see what kind of differences it makes

Hope everyone had a nice week coming up

You are amazing. Looking forward to the report. Have a wonderful week.

Been a tough week, cold weather is here and I don't get much pain relief these days but an occasional blue aleeve tablet

Soon enough I'll have some indica I can make some CCO with

The CCO was making me tired all the time so I stopped for a few days
Of course my backs flared
Up something crazy

Saving up to make a trip to my mothers to drop off enough CCO in an attempt to kill her Cancer

How many grams should I give her 60'or 90?
She's over 30 years survives pancreatic cancer
15 years colon cancer

She's not sure what's wrong but I wouldn't be at all suprised of its back

Will pick up some extractohal when I go see as it can be shipped to her place

Prob make her a few types once I know how much would be a good amount for her to keep on hand and start tacking with
Luckily she just saw a show on RSO I think she said Dr OZ and he said it helps
And cures a lot of diseases and ailments/sickness

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone involved

If you're concerned that cancer has made a return I'd go with a 90 day supply, if for no other reason than the peace of mind it will bring. I suspect that if you go with 60 days you'll question whether or not that was enough. Am I correct?

And thank you. Your journey was exciting to follow HizzyB. So sorry to hear about the pain. Think of it as temporary. You know relief is ahead.

Good luck man and hopefully it hasnt returned.

I have a parkinsoms patient who would like to try cco. I only have sativa dominant weed at hand and im busy making a batch as i tyoe this. I was wondering what doesage i should rwcommend for him. Hea never even seen weed never mind smoked it.

Hi HizzyB, away's great to see mom, start her out very slow with tacking and build up slowly to a gram a day (or as close as possible). Take her 60+ grams to start. But I take a back set to "Mo" when it comes to advice.

today my mother confirmed that her father was on the Arizona a week before it got sunk

A hernia got him in the hospital

All his buddies died

He hit the bottle hard for a long time

So today I'm very grateful for that Hernia
