Hey Cult, Hizzy has been "Tacking" 1-1.5 dry grain of rice for a few days without tripping to mars (no high) but when he tried to much and did a sloppy tack that is when he found himself on the "Dark side Of the Moon", Hizzy is growing a Mango for his pain a 1:1 THC:CBD
As I told you awhile ago you can help yourself and not get euphoric.

As I read your posts I was sad and felt heartbroken for the two of you with all that you have, and are struggling with from the opiods.
But as I read on, I saw courage and absolute commitment to win your wars with the addictions. I applaud the both of you brave souls, and thank you for the inspiration to continue talk to others who are battling this in my own life.

If you're interested or willing to try & using cannabis fighting an addiction:
Try using Echinacea (found in any store as a supplement) combined with a high CBD strain (very little THC) & make the oil using the QWET (Tim's) version.
It's not a miracle, but damn sure helps & speeds the symptom process up.

I'm wondering how nothing I dropped off shows any cbd if the lab is testing for it or if they have bad equipment
Guess we'll know once the mango haze (1:1 thc:cbd) is tested.

Unfortunately, very few strains sold as seeds that claim to have a certain CBD content really do.
I've had 3 strains tested for CBD & none of them were near their advertising. 1 claimed 13% CBD, 9% THC....
Not even close. Had barely 1% CBD.
It sucks, but clones are the best bet if you can find them.
Just curious, have you ever grown Blue Blood and had it tested for CBD content?

I know this has probably been asked alot but if you are ingesting or tacking could you not just mix high thc cco with cbd oil? then you know you are getting the cbd and the thc.

No, I personally haven't.
Absolutely. The problem is getting quality high (20%+) CBD oil to blend with the THC.
The CBD companies purchase CBD paste from their source. That is how they stay legal in 50 states.
The problem is this "paste" can be pretty nasty stuff full of microbes, mold, etc.
On top of that, the extraction team can be pretty much anyone. Even the Chinese are getting in on it.
The hybrid high CBD strains we can get in seeds have only a 15-20% chance of being the advertised phenotype too.
So, the issue for most is getting quality high CBD with a medicinal potency.
The great high CBD strains like the authentic Harlequin, Cannatonic, AC/DC, Charlotte's Web, etc. are clone only & hard to obtain for the average person.
I had my Crop King, CB & CBD Crew strains tested & was pretty surprised.
I have some Cannatonic seeds coming soon. I really want to get it tested once I grow it out. And I would really like to get that Blue Blood tested as well.
What is the average cost of the testing these days? Back when I first looked into doing it there was only one place in my area and they were quite high in price.

Is there anything you know of that could be done during the growing that would enhance the CBD values of the plants grown from seed? Even as I ask that I realize how absurd that is. We're talking a matter of genetics here. How do they get away with being so far off the mark though?

They have had phenotypes hit the advertised numbers. Unfortunately less than 20% of the seeds will be even close.
Canna, in our state it can run about $40-$50 dollars...there are lots of reputable places around here and I would be willing to help you out....

These charlottes web cross will hopefully give us all the CBDs we'll need. I plan on adding say 7grams of this cbd to 21 grams of sativa and then extracting (washing, fast)
for my daytime CCO
Of course testing will be required before I really know how much to use

Yep, it's just a little over $50.00 here. I'm going to have to get out there and see what has popped up in my area since these laws changed now. I've been living a bit of a sheltered life, ....work...go home...work...go home. I'll probably get lost in the very town I grew up in if I ever make it out there.
HizzyB, I will be anxiously waiting on how that "Med Web" turns out.

Well this is a sobering thought. I hope that future breeding projects could improve those numbers. Does give me pause. Since I can't get anything tested yet I have to simply be more alert to effect then. Hmmmm..... I'm a bit uncomfortable using my daughter as a testing ground, but that would be the case with every plant anyway. She and I need to have a heart-to-heart and work out strategies.
So far, we're seeing excellent results, much more than we'd hoped for when we started.
