Good to hear from you my favorite Wild Man. I really look forward to you being back around regularly, but take it easy too.

Hey all ! poping in to see if my ideas are any good. I made some coconut oil infused with trim leaves and a small bud. using the steps here>>>pain-cream-using-only-2-grams-made-many-times.

I am going to try to give it to my cat that has hyper thyroid and kidney issues and a small intestinal inflammation lymphoma. He is 14y/o.
So my plan is to give him a drop from the tine of a fork and hide it in his food. He was wise to me using cream cheese but I got some/a film on a piece of crunchy food that he ate. I think the smell is overpowering.

What i did was chop the trim up and put 4 scoops of coconut oil into a mason jar and heat on the lowest setting in the oven for 32 hours.
I tested some on my Mrs and she didnt take too much but didnt feel anything, She does have a high tolerance but the smell and taste she couldnt take much.

So my plan is to try the Mrs again with a slice of orange, just how much oil for her to try? I do have a syringe just not sure what increments is says on the side. I dont think the oil is very strong, which I wanted my first batch to be weak sauce, next batch with have bud and trim about even.

I don't know how much to try on the Mrs., hopefully someone else will pop in with a base measure for you. I can tell you that when I was giving my kitty the oil she got wise to things as well. I was successful just rubbing it on her teeth a few times, but then she started just salivating it out instead of swallowing it. I started poking a hole to the center of those soft kitty treats that you can buy from Pet Smart stores and putting a very small drop of my CCO in there, then squeeze it closed around it. I don't know the name of it, there is no more here. I would feed her a couple with no oil, then one with the oil and a couple more without it. Worked pretty good.

Let us know how you do with your plan. :)

That's an excellent idea Canna. :high-five:

keltic, try about 3 ml of the oil for your wife. She may not get much response. If she drank the entire batch she'd get toasted, but such a small amount for someone with a high tolerance.....

The cat won't react to it the same way anyhow. I'd just get it into your kitten. :battingeyelashes:

Thanks guys : - )

so far I have put a drop on one of the kidney diet food pieces and pressed another food piece right on top of it. I have not witnessed the eating of it but he is the only one who eats that food and three times it had been gone the next morning. Does it loose something if I leave it out for him overnight? The food absorbs the oil pretty well. I have not seen any issues with him afterwards. Doesn't seem stoned at all. One of us checks on him through the night. He hasn't been alone for more than an hour.
Mrs KB said she could feel it a little after she ate her orange piece. I may try a more recreational dose for her just to see. And to use it. So I can make more better going forward.
I would like to get it in him if only to help him sleep and poop. Simple as that really.

It doesn't hurt it to leave it out, just not in direct sunlight or bright lighting I've been told.
Sounds to me like it's working to "hide" it. :) You trickster....

Keep us posted on any developments when you can.

Edit: Also, to help with his poo, add some tuna oil (not the kind in water, the kind in oil) in a dish mixed with a little food. The oil helps move things along and helps get rid of hair balls too.

Also keltic, the ECS regulates the digestive system, so using CCO and the tuna in oil will let you get at the challenge from two directions. Good work on hiding it. :high-five:

Good news indeed wildjim....let your mind run wild

Hey MagicJim! Thanks for that voice in the dark. Hoping all is well down there in NC! BTW I'm an old man and my mind always runs in the wild mode :hippy:

Thanks Sweetie Sue. Unfortunately the doctor ran a load of tests and some came back not so good. Been here before, so I'm hanging in there. Got a 2 week old Bubblegum Auto under the light, so all is well in the Wild Woods. Still have a bit of the Wild Thailand Ryder, a real potent Sativa auto, she gave me 14 good ounces and the oil is high in THC and we will see how it goes as my medication. Need the Bubble Gum for some Indica. Here's a bunch of love coming your way!

Hey darlin' Lady. Sorry I haven't been in touch for a while. Just takes a ton of my energy to sit in front of this desktop. Like I told Sue, I got the Bubble Gum Auto in the perlite and she is beautiful. I promise I'll take a couple pictures and put the here as soon as I can. She is in a 1.5 gallon Hempy with a reservoir of about 1/2 gallon, so I am having to feed her daily. I don't mind though. She could probably go a few days but I like keeping the reservoir fresh. I would crawl across a field if broken glass for my boys, so nothing less for my girls.
I'll send you an email the next time I have a clear head. ;)

Love, Good Fortune and Green growing to all!

Hello all,
I'm admittedly new around here and saw this thread and had to sub, as I have made my own INDOOR Distillery for liquor. But now i see a MUCH better use for it lol! I have made Corn Whiskey, Rumka, Apple Pie Moonshine and Tequila so far, and I'm still alive to tell how I did it. Shucks now I have to go clean it all up for some pics. A farmers work is nevr dun! TC and Cheers!

Now that's what I call "Gypsy Rigged" :thedoubletake:

I take it you can reclaim your carrier while making CCO? :cheesygrinsmiley:

:drool::cco::drool:

But of course, I just can't run it on auto-pilot so as to monitor the reduction in the pot, unlike when I do shine you use stack temp as indicator when alcohol is no more ;)

Its very easy to make and runs on AC or DC for the hotplate. Cost around $30.00 or so to build and 2 gallons of 15% mash makes around 2qts of good tasting 120proof liquor which could be used to make CCO. There is also the benefits of CO2 during mash fermenting ;)

On second thought I just may be able to use the stack temp as a general guide, as the carrier will be gone at 200. So I could probably call it done for first stage reduction and merge the pot remains with the collected carrier for the next run, yep thats the ticket...maybe even triple distilled!

I need to update a bit on the last batch of pain creme I made using the concentrated oil mixed into it.
I gave more to my Mom in another attempt to help with major keratosis on her hands and arms. They look awful!
The creme did help quite dramatically on the smaller and less pronounced areas, especially a couple on hands and some age spots on her face. It lightened the age spots, she told me. And I saw much improvement on the hands and forearms of the areas.

Two days ago she went and had several really bad areas literally dug out of her arms and her back. They are sending for testing and they told her she would not know if they are cancerous for about 3 weeks!!!! She has had skin cancer before, I just can't imagine that it could possibly take that long to get test results on it.

Anyway, we are praying that it isn't cancer.

In the meantime, she is sold on the creme to keep the less affected spots in control.

I'll update as she lets me know.

Hope all goes well, and are you adding Vitamin D & E to your creme?
I hear it aids in healing skin issues, also Oregano oil is great all purpose.

I did add vitamin E from capsules that I had here. I don't have any Vitamin D on hand right now. As soon as I get some, I'll add it into the major batch of creme I made. ;-)

I'll research that Oregano oil, hadn't heard that one before. I know it helps as a bug spray and helps on bites, so that certainly makes sense to add it in a creme.

:thanks:
