Cannabis Life & Times Of BTzGrow

That is a battle I have been fighting the last few years. Tent size will definitely help.

A lot has to do with dialing everything in perfectly. I have a lot of things covered but things are not quite perfect yet. Now that my tents and lighting are spot on. I just need to work on my feeding schedules. Once you get your grows to doing good it is a big step to get them to do great. Fun journey though.

I placed an order for a 2x4x6'7" Gorilla Grow Lite Line tent Friday. Received a message yesterday late afternoon that it was canceled. Apparently the company didn't actually have them in stock and was having them dropped shipped from GGT. I knew GGT didn't have them in stock, somehow they missed that. Regardless I ordered another this morning from the company I ordered my first 2x2.5 GGT from. It's being drop shipped from a company about 110miles north of me in Orange County/LA area. I selected free shipping, we shall see how long it takes. I know I should have pulled the trigger on this earlier this month.

I was away from my plants for a week and this is the result.
Before After This is part of my extreme need to have a new larger tent. I can't even imagine what these are going to look like after stretch.

Yeah I can see how tent size can become a issue LOL. Hope you can get what you need in time to move them. At least then you can let the plants grow wider.

I agree with growing larger and wider plants. I want to keep the plant count down and focus on growing larger if possible. I'm currently prepping the area the new tent will go into and picking up the air duct plumbing to use one blower with the two tents. Will see how that shapes up. Pictures to follow eventually of that setup.

I posted that I had ordered a new tent on Tuesday after having received a cancellation for a previous order on Monday. Both companies are mail order distributors and their names begin with Grow. This is most disappointing considering I spent the time confirming with the second company that they actually had one to ship. I was put on hold so the person could call and confirm there was one in stock. Ah the trials and tribulations of a small grower.

I'm going to be letting my contact in the customer service department at Gorilla Grow Tent know what happened also.

Fortunately as I am in quite a pinch with plants that are out of control I have a growing buddy @Archiweedies who had previously offered to loan me a 4x4 he has and is currently not using. It does require a little sewing repair, but I have talents in that area as I worked in an auto upholstery in my college days and have basic whip stitch skills with needle and thread. Whew!

I might have learned more out of college than I every really could appreciate. Thankfully, I was given or acquired a can do attitude about most of life regardless or because of obstacles thrown in my way all along the way.

I was saved by a fellow grower years ago when my light crapped out on me. Not only was he able to help me out with a light. It was a upgrade to boot. It became my first grow with a 1000 watt HPS. Where I was living it would have taken at least a week to get a light. I would have lost all my plants.

At the time I knew he grew but not to the extend that he did. This same guy became my mentor and ended up sharing so much more with me other than that light. That is also the first time I grew Trailer Trash Betty. Since my footprint was so much bigger with the 1000 than when I had with the 400 he also gave me some TTB clones to add to what I had. Never turned back since.

Glad to hear that kind of stuff is still happening.

I received notice via email this morning that a UPS label has been printed for shipment of my new tent. One can only hope it's just days away. Time to finish putting together everything I need to set it up.

My tent has shipped from the GGT warehouse in Santa Rosa. I'm thinking I might see it as soon as Monday. I guess it's really time to get busy making that special place in the garage next to the other one. A trip to Lowes for metal duct work, screws, hose clamps and dryer hose. Yes!!!!

No need to ever say sorry with me. We do what we can when we can as best we can. I should have it in place by Monday evening hopefully. Let me know the next time you are making an SD run.

Please do, we will certainly enjoy. Perhaps come down to my place, I'll drive us to pick Doob up and then go to lunch. Perfect plan :thumb:

Checked the shipping status of my tent from GGT. It arrived in San Diego yesterday morning and was scanned in at 7am. Since the UPS distribution center is less than 3 miles from my house, I'm figuring on sometime early on Monday. Yea!!! I started setting up the area it will go into. Still need to make a run to Lowes for ducting parts. Not exactly sure I want to deal with the fathers day crowd. Maybe swing over to Dixie Line that is closer.
