Haven’t been feelin well the past few days so I’m falling a lil behind again!
I hope it's nothing serious Candy, and stop worrying about falling behind. :) With CBD you may want to look at the hairs instead. Here's a snippet from an article on harvesting CBD:

Other growing techniques to maximize CBD

There are other general care techniques that growers can use to maximize CBD in their gardens. Most obviously, it’s important to keep plants healthy, nourished and free from diseases. Overall, the healthiest plants produce the greatest cannabinoid content, so this is vital for CBD production, too.

Next to this, it is important to harvest at the right time. If you harvest too early, you won’t have given your plants sufficient time to produce CBD. For this reason, you should harvest only when at least 60% of the white hairs have turned brown or amber. You can harvest all the way until 90% of the hairs have turned amber. For the record, the later you leave the plant to flower, the more CBN content it will also possess — which is another very therapeutic cannabinoid.

Finally, based on a single 6-year long study about industrial hemp cultivation, there are three more recommendations. However, if you are growing marijuana, these techniques may not be effective, as industrial hemp is a different plant. Nonetheless, these are the techniques that increase CBD yield in industrial hemp:

• Warm soil temperature

• Warm air temperature

• Lower levels of precipitation (rain or watering)

I hope you feel better soon. :hugs:

I hope you get well soon, Candy!
And like Mr. Sauga said- no need to give "falling behind" a second thought..
Just like Motel 6, we'll keep the light on for ya!

Interesting! So this article is saying that CBD does become CBN? I knew THC would if left long enough, but I didn’t think that was true of CBD.

I'm not so sure about that. I didn't pick up on that part. This is what I know about it.
During decarboxylation, some of the THC breaks down even further to produce CBN. Think of it like splitting an atom into smaller subatomic particles (e.g., quarks). The nice thing about decarboxylation is that it’s relatively quick. You don’t have to wait very long before you can use the marijuana.

The second way to produce CBN—aging—requires a bit more time. After you harvest the raw cannabis, the acids (THCA, CBDA, CBCA) begin to break down naturally. This is a slow process, which is why we use decarboxylation to hurry things along.

But if you had enough patience, you could let your cannabis sit on a shelf for a few days or weeks. During that time, the THCA would break down to CBNA and eventually to CBN. Aging doesn’t work to produce CBD.

Damn, so sorry you dont feel well Candy. Hope you have a quick turn around
About the Amber, not really sure other then different phenos altering the different flowering times. I feel its all a rough guideline. She looks amazing as usual sister :high-five:
:thanks: and I don’t know what was up started running a fever and felt like I had the flu, nobody else was sick so I’m assuming it was just a flare but after a few days I’m feeling much better! I hope all is well your way!
Assemble the musicians for the funeral march, sis.

I hope you’re feeling better CC! Those buds are stunners. I think they look perfectly ready for harvest.
:thanks: I gave them the chop! Pics too follow soon!

I chopped Blue Cheese first on day 73 of 12/12 she litterally was falling apart from the weight of her buds when my hubby tried to move her so he chopped her whole then I broke her up a bit so I could defol anything that didn’t have sugar on it and so she could get good air flow.

Then day 74 of 12/12 I chopped Alpine Star CBD. She was a floppy gal and didn’t really produce fat buds but the colors and smell are amazing in person.

Day 75 my brother came by to help me and we knocked out Critical Kush and Girl Scout Cookies! They both as well flopped from the weight of the buds once moved out of the tent.

This is the first time (other than the ST and SSH that were chopped early) that I didn’t do a bud wash but I just didn’t have that energy in me at the time. I didn’t use anything on them so should be fine.
Thank you all for stopping by and for everything! Nothin but love and appreciation for the 420 family  :hugs:

Wowza! So much to say. Fantastic looking harvests Candy. The bones on the AS were solid! I'm glad you had help as that's a lot of work. How you got your brother to do the trimming from inside the TV is a neat trick. Saves time and travelling if you can just turn him on and he's there to help.

I love the tree and decorations. I'm so glad you found the energy to get into the spirit for the time of year. Merry Christmas Candy, to you and your family, including your inquisitive dog. :hugs:

Might as well give a quick update on the two in the 2x4 while I’m here! Their leaves look like the last bunch that just got chopped always starts end of mid bloom to start of late flower but been getting them across the finish line. They are on day 54 of 12/12 still a few weeks to go give or take and have had 2 feeds at 5gr/g. Here they be!
