Candida CD-1

My Candida has definitely recovered from her initial damage. She starting to stretch again and I'm not sure if it's where I have her but she's just a little lighter green than my others in there

Do we know for sure that an indica-leaning pheno is even possible? Seems everyone's is sativa. Mine most definitely is.

Hope a few of us do crosses in the future... crossing a good indica into it might work out well.

I have a blueberry coming in soon, thinking about trying to breed Candida with it if Candida isn't good enough alone. On the creators of Candida's website, they say the indica and sativa pheno is very obvious so I'm sure there is an indica of Candida. They also said that the sativa produces a noticeable amount more CBD.

My girls are doing well

Nice buds on this one

I am harvesting a blueberry tomorrow

I'd love to cross Candida with Blueberry, love the Blueberry smell

They're looking great Scorpio!

It'll be a while for me but I'd like to cross a heavy indica for the body effects. I'll have to keep an eye out for good reg seeds.

Agreed, looking awesome H420!

Question for you guys running multiple strains - does your Candida drink a lot of water? I find I have to water mine more than my other plants - and my Critical likes a good watering. Also the pot is dryer by the next day than any other plant. As a reminder I’m running coco, drain to waste, so I’m watering daily. Candida might push me to water twice daily.

Hey DobeWan, my Candida is in a fabric pot and the rest of my strains are in regular plastic pots. In my opinion my Candida seems to hold more water longer than the others... maybe because she was over watered twice and the soil just always seems a bit wet after that or idk. That my situation hope it helps

Hey DobeWan,
It will be an apples to oranges thing as I am running a mix of coco, peat and compost in fabric pots but their watering needs have changed over time. During veg, the White Widow out drank the Candida but now in flower it seems to be the other way around. I like to dry my media out completely and am on a 4 day watering cycle but the Candida could be watered in 3 to 3.5 days. My guess would be that the increased air flow through the Sativa node spacing vs the tight Indica node spacing may have something to do with it.... But that is just a guess :-)

Just an update on my candy girl. She's doing very well still, steadily growing so In about a week I'll throw her in flower with her big siblings. She has plenty of tops for me now at this point. Still looking like a sativa. I haven't had to prune any lower leaves, what u see is all natural growth with LST and micro topping/Fimming in the beginning
