Many purple varieties such as Grandaddy Purple, Purple Erkle, Mendo Purps, Grape Ape, and Lavander have elevated levels of the terpene linalool. Linalool is a found in large quantities in lavandar and grapes as well (hence the association already in place on some of the strain names). Linalool is a terpene with potent anti-anxiety, sedative, and analgesic effects. Linalool modulates the same receptor types (GABA) as Zanax. The analgesic effects are further potentiated by an association with CBD (an "entourage effect") so high-linalool, high-CBD strains would have more potent analgesic properties than plants that were rich in only one of the two compounds. Linalool is one of the most researched of the terpenes due to its common use in aromatherapy. In addition to its well-established anxiolytic (anti-anxiety) effects, linalool has anticonvulsant properties and has even been shown to decrease morphine usage in post-surgical patients indicating anti-addiction potential."

Since mine has been stunted and isn't looking so great now, I'm going to just clone and flip her after my 5 come out of flower in a couple weeks. I will have it professionally tested for us

It shows the terps in the strain

It has a .029% of that terp, so Candida is a good strain for anxiety for sure

You know any other indicas for anxiety/OCD? I'm hoping Candida does it for me, but if not I'll have to try out something else. ACDC has been 1 of my wishes but haven't had it yet

LA Confidential is from the breeder DNA so it should be available from any seed bank stocking their stuff!

No CBD but my wife will plan to try it mixed with some Candida for inflammation.

It's a really pleasant strain. I have one flowering and coming down in the next couple of weeks.
 
I did some research last night on the strains that Scorpio provided us, and the terp from DobeWan, and lavender is the next strain I'll try after Candida. Thank y'all so much.
 
Big Candy came down today

Much better than I thought, still some great denseness inside her
I may pull 3oz from her
