Canadian Growers Group & Friends

So does humidity below 50% :meatballs:
not a problem in winter in my basement.

got bored over holidays so did 10 auto flowers and 6 photo plants.

autoflowers: Bloody Skunk, Blue Dream'matic, Sucker Punch, Orange Diesel, Frugue State, LSD, MK Ultra, AK, Hulk Smash, and Amnesia.

photo period: Grizzly Purple Kush, Fruity Chronic Juice, MK Ultra, MK Ultra & Bubblegum , Pure Power Plant, GrandDaddy Purple.

The humidity is 38, refill water and wet gravel and boom 60 for few hours. once i get big pots and water plants it will stay 40-45. Auto's are all in mother room and waiting on 2 photo plants. i'll top and clone photo plants in maybe 5 weeks and move them to big tent for a grow and hopefully auto are done in march-april.

don't normally go to solo cups with auto's(normal straight to final pot) but i had to go away christmas and didn't want my helper trying to water big pots with little plants, she doesn't know how to water just a little.

anyone have any experience with seedlings damping - off, seedling seem pinched in middle of stem and falls over eventually and dies, happens in 2 days.
I had 1 seedling do this in group of 6, think it got too much water so my 2nd batch i backed off how much water i soaked in(coco pellet) and opened vents in humidity dome, no problems 2nd round. i never had this problem before but i'm thinking of not using humidity dome for gerimnation anymore, i've done with or without and don't seem to matter. i was mostly scared my kids cat would screw with my seedlings.
i also think it effected my bloody skunk auto growth first week because i had white spots on bottom of stem for a few days. it seems better now and growing strong, no other plants seemed effected.

p.s. work is so boring right now, between holidays, snow, and lockdown.

Well I get to

I found if the seed shell stays stuck to the seedling for too long it seems to weak'in the growth in the stem where the shell wouldn't fall off and when it finaly did the plant did the same thing as yours, died a few days later. Did your seedlings start off with stuck shells?

Yep..once or twice I have used clean tweezers to gently remove a stuck head ... ..don’t be afraid if you think she is legit stuck
namaste !

no it is different. if i have seed stuck i do same as Northern Hydro and go in with tweezers, sometimes i'll use eye dropper and drop of water if its sticky stuck.

My seedling looked normal except middle of stem was discoloured, then next day leaves went dull and it fell over. The middle part of stem looked all shrivelled in like someone sucked too hard on a straw and sides caved in (inscert sex joke here: :Namaste: ) . I think my peat pellets where too wet and i forgot them for a few days in mini humitidy dome on my computer. the wet enviroment gives the seedling fungi disease i think.

this was one of the seedlings that didn't die, it had white spots on bottom of stem and slow to grow for awhile. it also curled the leaves and little burn as you get lower on plant. bloody skunk auto , about 3 weeks old.
