A plant count limit of 5 or less is the pre legalization limits and threshold between a misdemeanour and criminal prosecution we worked under without a medical license for medical conditions as a necessity. It was not until several years of attempting to find a medical specialist who prescribes cannabis and a medical license which allowed access to greater limits. Recreational grows are a great opportunity to reconnect with the natural world and our heavenly father.

I am asking if you have a plan, for this 8'x 8' grow area what plant count limits and harvest limits are a workable solution for you to work within?
 
4 in flower would suite me and would cover my wife and my minimal usage, a stash and gifting. i would really like to select that from 50 minimum. much like i do with food and flowers. Long time gardener and getting hobbled with age.
Also keep worms and compost and have no problems disposing of excess plant material. If i where younger i would have a micro production license in a heartbeat.
 
Really it don't matter what the plant count is if you form a grow collective of 6 people or more... 1 person runs just Mothers at their house aka the (mother cultivar vault)... 1 person runs just males (stud cultivator vault)... 1 person runs the pheno hunting, cloning and breeding (Genetics vault).. Then the other 3 people just grow large plants and harvest the 4 plants at each of their homes... That way no one goes over the stupid plant limit and between those 3 growing that's 12 plants to harvest each time equaling 5 to 6 lbs of bud... So about a pound of weed for each person in the collective at each harvest.

our provincial gov't has proposed completely ending medical licences now that a non medical legal 4 plant limit is allowed. they are arguing the 4 plant limit is sufficient, and purely medical licenses are no longer needed.

the 4 plant limit is enforced through provincial law, whereas the medical license is federal jurisdiction. our gov't is adversarial to the federal law overriding the provincial limits claiming they're a federal overreach, as home legal growing is up to the individual provincial govt's to allow and enforce.


it's not a front burner issue, but the idea has been kicked around by our gov't in conservative circles. nationally, there are commercial interests that would like home grow curtailed. it's expected pollievre will revisit the law and likely make favorable changes if elected.

a lot of guys here got med licenses through internet doctors based in other provinces. our gov't wants all of those tossed out.

really it's about revenue, and who gets to make the cash.

Exactly ....Its always been about the money with cannabis ever since it was deemed a commodity that could turn a profit

my guess is any push behind tightening anything up would be about the industry.

edit : basic home grow is here to stay. there's simply zero economic policing interest in trying to stop it. no one is changing now the genie is out of the bottle.
 
I like coco, it's so damn easy. Be nice to have access to top notch clones other than what I come across myself. Stings when I waist my resources and count on plants that aren't even worth getting pinched with. Going through old pics, this was a year ago and I don't have the slightest clue what it is.
