I have a problem with my cali-bubba auto. Been feeding it Remo with RX gold, but temp got to 80 degrees. Plenty of ventillation.

Any ideas? Just on 3 of the lower leafs. Fifth week.

Is hards to keep my RH at 50 + when I open the door too much.

Closet grower

Your Ph is low in the root area of your medium causing the brown spots to appear cause its disrupting the nutrient from flowing to the plant ... So correct your ph and your issue will go away. Might want to flush the soil with correctly PH water and then add your usual amendments. What light source are you using ?

was leaning to ph but held off to see if anyone else thought the same

edit : what's your media and how large are those air pots ? wondering if it was buffered.

Not familiar with Remo but are you measuring ppm's ?

And what is the medium ?

Cheers

pic of the entire plant could help too. or one in better focus. could help to see how large it is.

My tap water is usually PH friendly.
I use soil, HP Mycorrhizae. @Chuckeye
Air pots 10inch in diameter, 12 inches high.

Wondering if its a heat issue. Went up to 80.5

Thanks

heat kinda attacks the top most leaves first. as long as it doesn't live there a lot you should be ok.

i'm guessing you are using standard hp promix. it's buffered, but your pots look small enough that the buffering in the media can fail over time. larger pots don't get the same issues, simply due to the extra volume of media.

about a 3 gallon is as small as i'd run for most autos with hp.

what is the ph of your tap water do you let it stand 48 hrs before use?

to me those spots look like you got some of the feed water soln on the plant leaf...

80f degrees in the grow room is 100 % a o k about 85f u get problems..

what is the Rh if your leave door open ... 40 - 50 thats fine...

are you watering feeding your plants correctly? do you know how to water?

your plants dont look in the best of shape...

Before and after shots would be great! Looking good, DD!

check out my journal for more pics.. i dont like dropping photo bombs on threads.. 2 - 3 pics is plenty ..

don't think anyone minds if you cross post a few.

I use ProMix HP and Do Not ph down my well water @ 7.5 with Mega Crop one part and/or GH MaxiSeries.

So I don't think its a ph issue...

And the heat isn't the issue either, late in summer I was seeing +85F !

Hart to judge the "green" of the leaves from your picture but I'm going with a nutrient issue ;)

Likely not enough ?

Cheers and Good Luck, eh ?

Edit > and ProMix Hp is considered soilless ;)

The plant is displaying a phosphorous deficiency on the lower leaves of the plant indicating a disruption in the nutrient uptake which supplies new growth with nutrients.

Actually that reminds me, I had an issue with one plant that looked like this....

Day 58 GP leaf 19 Sept 2023.jpg

I stopped it by adding Bud Explosion which is a PK booster.

Cheers

hp pro mix is buffered
Even with it being buffered over time after a few dry backs that buffer is weakened by salt build up from the nutrient feeding and most deficiency issues in plants are caused by an incorrect Ph level, Also was wondering what his feeding schedule is like and what type of lighting is being used and on what scedule?

up to a point. it'll lose the buffering if the grow goes on long enough or the pot is too small for the grow.

yeah it can drift out over time. doing a f/f/w schedule can help avoid it.

Also was wondering what his feeding schedule is like and what type of lighting is being used and on what schedule?

me too. would like to see if the whole plant to see if it's looking hungry as well.
