try growing in hp pro mix at the lowes .... 107 liters bale is 43 last i saw..
Don't have lowes but I will just use new soil for future indoor grows. I am getting more of those lil' fruit flies with an air-pot and a SIP than usual. Have those fly strips to keep them at bay.

Peat moss is acidic, & buffered with lime, to bring it ph neutral. You can add lime or wood ash to old soil (grow media) to bring it back

actually you should look at dolomite lime buffers... thats the stuff u want to control ph balance..

cheap to buy a sack at the garden supple stores..

every grow indoor should be a new pot of soil.. i do re use my fabric pots but give em a rinse..

your air pot dont give u fruit flies dont know what sip is, fruit flies comes from you store bought fruits like bananas..

would be many more in summer time..

yellow stickies are good ..

Im not so sure that fuzzy stuff is mycorrhizal fungus... maybe its e. coli.. never seen in my grows..

i do get green algae on the surface sometimes..

anybody want to eat it? smoke it?

I'm cooking soil from last grow for three months before using it again. I like the idea of reusing it. I'm just wondering how many time I can get away with reusing it before I have a build up or depletion of nutrients. It's just not cost efficient to get soil lab test on my 30 gallons of soil. Smart money would be to just use new soil every grow.

I've read somewhere you can use the soil over and over. If you amend it periodically with good organic fertilizer it should be good to go.

I grow outside and use a lot of soil - getting new soil every year doesn't work - I think by making some amendments every year I'm building the soil. I believe it gets better every year.
Generally it is 1/3 last years - 1/3 HP mix - 1/3 worm casting...and then some Gaia Green. I also cheat about the proportions when I start running out. I also use some fresh top soil and chopped leaves.

i have friends who do it. they also do an indoor worm bin.

i re use my hp pro mix too.. I cut the root ball out of my 7 gallon smart pots.. place on front and back lawns..
go get my lawn boy with a full tank of gas.. and go have some fights with root balls..

these roots balls can knock the lawn boy right out!!!! but he is tuff and starts up again and finishes the job
after the bloody battle good 5 mins.. sometimes 2nd round needed..

:lot-o-toke:delta dude with your luck root balling with a lawn boy sound dangerous

i re-use as well, i mean like what the frig are those top dressing$,nutrient$, and foliar spray$ for if they can't grow a weed in shite soil.
my preferred method for root balling is pull my dead plants out and use the stem to beat the ground like i'm Jose bautista.

This years winter grow and summer moms, 9 strains, 8 Regular seeds genetics from canada and 1 dutch regular seed;

Jordon of the island: Black Funk Dawg(mostly sativa), Blackberry Hammer(indica), God Bud (indica), Purple Kush(dank indica), Black Cali Grapes (indica)
Canuk: Tangie Scout (mostly sativa), Bruce Banner (sativa)
Digital Genetics: The Wifi Connection(indica/sativa)
Sensi Seeds: Juicy Fruit (indica/sativa)
BC private stock- Tuna OG (rancid dank indica)

i did 4 seeds each and cloned the tops just a week ago, clones are in flower now to sex the plants. i use the clones to sex so i don't stress the moms. i'll also use the female clones i sexed for my indoor hydro grow and just leave them in flower so i'll have back up weed around june. more than likely i will get extra females of same strain and hopefully i'll get different phenotypes. space is going to be tuff because there chance i'll end up with 12-20 moms, the veg room can handle 18 moms and 200 clones and all extra goes to my buddies place.
i'll post some pic later when they start showing sex

Cheers grow friends:Rasta:stay safe and stoned
