Well, DD. A year before weede became legal, my girlfriend's ex sister-in-law, got caught with 7 "trees" of pot. Her man had a record for dealing cocaine yet they pressed no charges and gave them a slap on the wrist.
I have no such record and have access to their file number. I don't even need a lawyer to site the precedence. If they got away with it, so should I.
I agree with the legal grow but I have always been a fighter. I lead a quiet life so I don't attract much attention.
To make matters worse, I went to the LEGAL distributor today to stock up on an ounce, just to find out that the f'ers are on STRIKE!
Alcohol, like weed, is reglemented yet when the booze employees go on strike, they are limited and alcohol is always available. Lucky for me, my daughter just moved back from Ontario and got 4 vials of vape (illegal here in Quebec) and will carry me over. Without my night time smoke, I will be lucky to get more than 3 hours sleep.
In conjclusion, Delta.... I will fight, fight and fight for my RIGHT to smoke and grow. :dude-knocking:

call your lawyer and ask what you get today .. also is your house insurance null and void with illegal grow opp?

i hate that Paranoid feeling its always there 24/7 .... i would be paranoid if i had 5 plants going be more paranoid with 100 . lol...
get down to your mpps office...

Growing weed at home? Quebec and Manitoba suck! Maybe the politicians there bought stock in big ag. Cannabis and lost their shirt. There is a conservative element in Canada that want All cannabis turned over to big AG. Remember cannabis under Harper? No home growing or gifting is on the table at the 3 year review. The dirty wankers! I got run in by the RCMP in 1972 for Drum cigarette tabbacco in a plastic bag. The pouch ripped on me and buddy figured it had to weed. I'm developing quite an affinity for hanging out with the beavers ....... no anti cannabis element there.:)

Here's my all gas and pink lemonade ....... 4 plant limit sucks but I take it. I don't know of anyone getting busted with more than that. It would be interesting to see what kind of fines the crown is handing out.

I hope I'm wrong about this but in Quebec I believe you are not allowed to grow any recreational weed, indoors or out. I'm not sure if federally registered cannabis patients are excluded from that madness. Please anyone correct me if I'm wrong about that, I sure wouldn't want to pass on incorrect information.
Thanks Z! Yet since I have been growing B4 we were legal, I'll just keep on living a quiet life and continue growing. Not on anyones radar so to speak. Yet with my back problems, I will definitly talk to my doctor next visit.
Unfortunately , he is against any addictive drugs. Without cannabis, I would be lucky to get 3 hours of solid sleep. With its help, I may get 5.
My back is difficult and at times, sore. All I get from him is tylenol.
For these reasons I am glad to be here. Have learned alot and believe that this grow can give me both medicinal and relaxion before bed ( couch lock?) if I cut them at the right time.

$2,542.00 in Manitoba, $750.00 per plant in Quebec and $2,000.00 to $100,000.00, 3 to 12 months or both for the rest of Canada. Doesn't seem very legal to me. It use to be illegal to make booze at home, weed has an awful long way to go before it can be considered legal in my mind. Next time someone ask what you would like to drink ..... ask for cannabis please .... i do.:) The whole thing in Quebec is off to the Supreme Court ......maybe they will finally fix it, fingers crossed.

LMFAO! :laughtwo:
At least I will have my job back when I get out!
Good advice, I will but its such a personal grow.... No problem these past 6-7 years.

Well, DD. A year before weedebecame legal, my girlfriend's ex sister-in-law, got caught with 7 "trees" of pot, two blocks from here. Her man had a record for dealing cocaine yet they pressed no charges and gave them a slap on the wrist.

So not so paranoid. Just not so sure about the insurance part but have smoke detecors and extinguishers handy, yet doubt that I will need them. My multi-plugs have breakers. Worse comes to worse, my vegs will flower early.

Thanks for the advice and concern, I will be careful.

nobody gives a shit here so long as you're not selling or trying to make a living.

i'm routinely technically illegal. i have 2 spaces, both of which could be in production at any given time. but i don't make a dime off it and supply 3+ adults.

my grows are all med focused now, so it's even tamer than it sounds really :p

All I know is my autos better turn out. Barley seeing 20 here and more fitting for hemp. So much for natural, they needed help! About the same here, lots of folks can't count. Buddy at the grow shop told me people are crying for clones and most autos are sold out. It's wonderfull that many folks will experience cannabis and never know what it was like being on the radar. No biggie but there's lingering PTST at times.:)

Scotty, if your doctor won't recommend cannabis I think you should seek a second opinion. There's a medical agency called Harvest Medical out of Calgary, but with a office in Moncton that is specifically for Canadian cannabis patients. 1-844-488-4633 (Toll-Free) Web: Landing Page Their patients are from across the country and they can get you an authorization for cultivating cannabis, all you have to do go through a patient consultation (just a prearranged phone call where a trained medical practitioner asks about your condition and assesses how many grams you'll need per day) then you fill out the government form for a CR:

https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/h...cal-purposes/personal-production-form-eng.pdf

Submit this along with the authorization from Harvest medical to Health Canada. Your licence will be for a year after that you must apply annually, but it doesn't cost anything. Harvest Medical bills your province directly so you pay nothing. I've done this for 4 years without any problem whatsoever. Best thing about it is Johnny Law is now on your side so no paranoia, ever. Hope this helps.

Wow, Zembretti! You are awesome!! :adore:
I don't even think my doctor would be aware of this but will start the proccess right away. To be honest, I never asked him knowing his opinion on evrything adictive.
You have been a humungous help, my friend and I am in your debt.

Scotty you're welcome, my friend. If you have any questions message me through this website.

I grew 4 plants while living in montreal around 2015 I had them here on a grow journal. My landlord laughed at me and said it was ok. I wouldnt stress much about the laws in Quebec or anywhere else in Canada. right now I am living in BC where cops dont give 2 F*cks about cannabis so its cooler here.

Besides you can apply for a medical prescription in Quebec and grow up to 50 plants legally. Have a look at Oneonce its a buisness that helps you get a medical license to grow. its literally cost 250$ for them to issue a prescription and all that nonsense.

Not off to a great start, lol.
Tried to fill out assesment and got stck at 92%, tried again, same results.
Went to harvest medicine e-booking and at the bottom where they ask for identification ( health care number), I dropped to see the choices and they didn't have anything for Quebec. NU, BC, YT.. All of them but mine.
Geez this province of mine is a bloody political nightmare. Will try the number you gave me on Monday.
Thanks
