Ok deltadubie let me make things a little clearer for you since you obviously are looking to argue and push your opinion on ceramics. The pics I showed were of a basement candy grow, my indoor joby job and my outdoor work a couple yrs back. I've been using bulbs most of my life and I'm 50. My current candy grow is with LEDs and at work we still push the mh/hps bulbs. Nothing performs better than bulbs and you can believe what you will however in my experience I'm quite certain of this! Now as for my little candy home grow, I'm currently running (2)mars tsl2000's and I also threw in a vipraspectra pro1500 in a 4'×8' tent. I'm yielding 2 lbs out of 8 plants in 5 gallon pots using coco along with scrogging. Solid colas with zero larf 12-16" some strains 18" down.. no idea what your trippin on but if you had paid attention to my initial post you'd have understood all this. Now I appreciate your input on Cmh lighting and will definitely give em a chance next time I buy lights. I gotta say however that I can't believe they'll produce as much as my bulbs do. I'm pulling 35-40 lbs off 60 plants with the bulbs. I do believe it's all in the training and the rhizosphere. Bigger roots bigger fruits.. Anyways we all have different techniques and different opinions but the science is the same. There's no variations of that. Happy growing friend..I should probably stay out of it.... What is the con about using chm? Maybe I should look into new lights. I'm putting together a new set up... Just ordered two new tents. I'm not gaining sq.feet . I'm gonna be gaining a veg tent and a flower tent. instead of my 4x4 I'll be using two 2x4's. Thinking about new lights. My TS3000 is a bit much for a 2x4 but I'll use it if I have to.
I'm gonna consider a CMH for my flower tent... What size do I need for a 2x4?

Dude..... don't let anyone chase you out of here... Deltadubie is being a tad aggressive, but 5000 watts is a lot unless you are lighting up a huge area. I'm still not sure if we are all speaking the same language. 5000 watts for LED grow would work on 160sq feet.
I'm keeping it to a 4 plant grow because that's what Mrs. Plantdaddy will let me grow. I can't stand starting out with 4 seedlings and waiting months until I have something worth looking at. I am also excited that plants will all be the ones in the front. I will be able to do a scrog. It wasn't an option with a 4x4. I couldn't get to plants in the back. I've got a couple Secret Jarin 2x4 tents coming. I only need info on my new setup. I'm wondering about light for veg tent. Thinking about T5's. Would love info about veging with T5's. Would also like info on cmh lights in a 2x4 tent for flower. I know actual footprint is 3x3. Anything else is just noise and doesn't help my new set up.no your grow is excellent for the lights and space your have nice looking top buds..

2 315 be ok .. but i think the 630 light will penetrate the canopy with more intensity ...

Nice addition!!! I've had a lot of people ask about those risers. I use mine under the tray... I let my organic grow suck back up all those delicious nutes.no your grow is excellent for the lights and space your have nice looking top buds..

I get it brother.... I would love to chat some more and get some knowledge. Walking on eggshells. Don't give up on site. A lot of different personalities here. God knows how many people I have offended here. I'm out spoken, but careful not to call anyone out. I think people would say I have a big personality... lol I know my golf buddies have to put up with me... Deltadubie is also a big personality.... He means well. We all think we know more than we do. There's a million ways to get big buds.... I'm trying to find my way and I've got a few guys that get under my skin here too. Won't mention any names but he has stated many times he wants to be like me when he grows up... I don't even know what triggered such passive aggressive behavior.. I just ignore and take a puff. It really is a great site... I got more out of it first couple grows.. Now I know everything... lol. I need a place to post pic's. My real friends could give a shit about my grow... They like the product but I guess I'm the freak because Pot is almost like porn. for me... I love it. I just sit in a little chair and stare them....
