Can my plant be put back together again?

Great job putting back together!

Yes it's not looking good, but maybe hang in there for a bit, She's not going to establish an upward flow immediately after fixing, or might never, but well the day after is a bit too soon to tell.

You can make butter for cake with the younger buds from that stem that broke off?

When I put this plant back together I had to put in the branch that completely broke off, otherwise it wouldn't go back together right. After a closer inspection, I realized all the fan leaves on the branch that broke off were dying. The large leaves on the other top cola were drooping, but not showing signs of wilting yet and the medium and small leaves seemed okay. I cut off the cola that originally broke off and the top 10 inches on the other cola because it looked bad compared to the rest of the plant. This morning I noticed the large fan leaves that were drooping yesterday are perking back up! Hopefully, as long as I foliage feed this plant for a little while it will continue to recover.

I took Rapid Rooters and filled the holes with CloneX gel. Then I took some clippings from the cola I cut the top off of, removed the large fan leaves, and stuck them in the Rapid Rooters. I covered the tops of the rooters with FoxFarm Happy Frog soil. I didn't think this would work but I figured why not try. Nothing is lost if it doesn't work. I was surprised to see this morning that most of them look a lot perkier than they did yesterday evening.

I don't want to bring these inside out of fear of spreading septoria to my indoor plants. The UV index is supposed to be very high today. Should I find them some shade?

Can you give it some shade for a few days?
I will try to find something. I can't move this plant because it is in 25 gallons of soil and I just watered it the other day after I put it together so the soil is probably still pretty wet. I already want to find something that will allow some light but shield the rain from it because 3 days from now we are supposed to have another 3 days of rain straight.

I didn't see this post until I already cut some off. I gave the cola I cut off to someone who likes to make edibles. I don't like edibles....the high lasts too long for me. I am not much of a smoker. I might smoke once or twice a week in the evenings with my husband after my kid is asleep. My husband is the smoker.....he smokes more in a day than I do in a month!

When I took the clippings and stuck them in Rapid Rooters my hope was they would root so they could finish flowering. When searching the internet to see if anyone had done this before I came across Monster Cropping. I think I am going to give this a try. The only thing is I need to create a space indoors for them. I was thinking of putting them in a small closet. I have already done a deep cleaning and sprayed Home Defense for indoors because my very first plant started in that closet and ended up with spider mites. At the time I didn't even consider that indoor plants need pest control too. I have an extra grow light that will fit in the closet. I was thinking about using a heating mat for heat. I just need to figure out a way to hold in the humidity. The closet is 16 inches wide by 34 inches deep. Any DIY suggestions that I can do with normal household items?

I have been using a beach umbrella to shade my plant. The problem is that my plants are too close together so the umbrella has been partially shading the plants beside it. The soil is dry enough that I can move them. I moved one plant but it wasn't easy. Before I move the other ones I figured I should ask if they need complete shade or partial. The reason I ask is I have some nets that have UV protection. If I layer them together and find something to hold them up they will only shade the plant that needs shading. Some light will still get through though. I didn't know if that would be okay.

Just something to take the light stress away while they regroup, especially at the height of the day. The sun's not as strong now as mid summer so I would stress about it too much. You're just trying to assist the plant in healing itself, not trying to fix it for the plant.

The UV index has still been getting high where I am.....we just don't have as many hours of it as we did in the summer. I ended up moving the plants. It started raining a couple of hours ago and is supposed to rain on and off for the next couple of days. I figure the umbrella will help keep the rain off of it so the branches don't get weighed down again.

I used a clear bathroom curtain and made a humidity dome. It appears that all of my clippings are doing good. This is surprising because from what I have read online about cloning I didn't quite do it as most people would have. I didn't cut them at a 45-degree angle, rather than putting them in water after cutting them I had rapid rooters with the holes filed with cloning gel ready and I stuck them into the rapid rooter without placing them in water first. I gave them a gentle tug and none of them came out the holes. I cannot see any roots when looking through the clear tray. I read that a way to tell if they have roots is removing them from the humidity and see what the leaves do. They are only 5 to 6 days old. I was wondering if I should try removing them from the humidity now to see what happens or wait. I read once they have roots it is not good to have them in all of that humidity.

I just sprayed them before taking this pic.

Flowering plants are going to take a lot longer than normal to root, and are harder to get to root. Sounds like you have a reasonable approach. Good luck! :thumb:
From what I have read it seems like most people dip the tip of the cut in the get before planting it. I wonder because I filled the hole of the rapid rooter with CloneX gel is the reason why they seem to be doing good?
