Camper2016's First Grow - Candy Cane Auto

I went on Amazon and found Fox Farm nutes a pkg of 3 - 16oz. bottles (big bloom, tiger bloom and grow big) for $32.99
With 4 plants, we went through a quart of big bloom during one grow. It calls for 4 tbsp per gallon per feed. Just a heads up. For an extra $10 you can double the bottle sizes

OK...that's exactly what I need to know...now I am 11 days into the grow. I have auto-flowering plants and they will go into flower at 4 weeks into the grow? So, 4 weeks of veg and 7 weeks for flower/bloom...so I need nutes to cover both spans of growth...so I focus on grow big now and big bloom later?

Grow big is used mostly the entire grow, minus the end since you don't need much nitrogen. Big bloom used the entire way, basic plant food, then tiger bloom when flowering. If you want, you can get the 3 soluble ones for flower. Cha ching, beastie blooms, and open sesame.

OK...I went ahead and purchased the 3-32oz bottles, the Ph chems and a humidity gauge...all that and a bag of chips...should have it all in house by Thurs....thank you for your insight

That made me laugh :) Yes, I feel you guys have me headed in the right direction :circle-of-love: thank you!!!!
Everyone has been very helpful....can't wait for the end result :Namaste:

What kind of chips? :)

Ugh I was interrupted before I could say Cal-Mag lol. Get some. You'll probably need it before any nutes. At least unsulphured molasses. That soil looks fairly organic so I doubt you will be blowing through what you just ordered. For auto's just keep it at 1/4 to 1/2 strength. Start low and work your way up. The Candy Cane is one of those autos that won't require much of anything. You might go through the whole run using only Cal-Mag.

:Namaste:

You guys and your inside jokes...I've got the molasses, so just need to know what kind of solution to make. Again, thank you all for your help and good nature...I need it

1st dose keep it weak. Teaspoon per gallon. Just 1 feeding around week 4 normally, but I think I would wait a little longer with yours. They don't look like they will be requiring it by the time you hit day 14. Typically they won't need it until 3-4 nodes form. Regarding the lighter colored babies.. I would just let them go. No nutes of any kind yet. They could stay that light color for a while. Maybe up to 4-5 nodes but I bet they will correct eventually. This is of course based on what I'm guessing your soil contains lol. I might have missed it, but is there any more info?

:Namaste:

It was an Organic potting soil for raised beds....which is how it's marketed...and used vermiculite and paving sand to finish the mix...tried to for a 60/20/20 and wanted the soil to keep from binding too much the roots to penatrate

The cool thing about this is that I have 4 growing babies and 4 more seeds in reserve. So, hopefully make this grow successful and then can apply the "good" steps from this grow and get better results with the next grow....probably wait until late fall because running the lights in summertime Texas is over the top:Namaste:

weird...trying to upload new pics and the files won't download in the gallery files....telling me that the image is "too small"...does not compute???
It seems others are having issues today uploading pictures as well. So it's probably nothing on your end. I can almost bet they are working on it now. :thumb:
