Camo's 1st Grow - Coco - LED - Lucas Autos - Poll Of Strain To Grow

Ok thank you grizzy, I dropped from 33in I believe to 24in for about 4 days and then dropped another 6in to 18in ( where I was these past couple of days) so yeah that could be stressing them. *** ALSO when I ponytailed for 6 hours 2 days ago I lowered the 2 150x3w leds to 12in above the 2 week old ladies. I guess I dropped the ball and the leds :) :) ;) I've raised up to 24in now, you say I should have a foot? Well taking it to the top is 33in so I guess that's what I'll do, or maybe wait a few hours and see how they feel with the led 24in or 2ft. Or 61cm. Roughly above the canopy, all I know is I'm ready to train these girls again and get that undergrowth to come up because everyday is vital in a autos life !

Hey Camo sorry i have been away for a while. Your plants are looking awesome and super dense. I have been running my LED's around 16 - 18" from the canopy and have found that is an optimal height. I think the manufacturer states 24" - 48" so I really don't put that much trust in the advertised numbers.

I also have cheapo Chinese LEDs

Keep on growin!

Can I ask what brand these are guys?
Mars I keep round 14 to 18 inches.
Kind Leds I keep round 16 inches
My Amare leds better keep that baby off em bout 22 to 24 inches. Those manufacturers claims are always very off KCMP is right.

I find that some strains within a week I can have a panel sitting on top of them, others like to build up to the intensity... I've even seen some get bleaching on their plants and then with same panels 3" closer grow without problems...

I'm only going off what I can see, regarding height, I'm hoping it's a no stress easy fix.

Not me, man. I'm hoping it takes days to figure out. I hope that whatever is causing it makes these autos suck and makes him grow some REAL plants and switch to photo-phase plants.

naw, really I hope we get this figured out fast, dude.

And spectrum

KCMP hey man its all good, we all have rral lives outside of the Internet as well. I just took it from 18in to 24in and they seem to be more perky and the coco on top dryer also could have been time passing and the plant soaking in some of the nutes in coco. Regardless the light is at 24in & I will be walking it down closer over next week or so and drop it down while st training them if possible.

Trichgobbla these are eshine leds, like og said same as platinum led who got kicked off of here except platinum may have added a few whites or uvb diodes or something to give them the 12 band spectrum they claim. These are 150x3w 11 band spectrum.

Grizzy I hope this is an easy fix for sure! I know northern lights (the littliest) is now standing up pointing towards the light and so is he tops of WW & DD

Jandre I hope we get this solved asap! I will grow photos one day, just need a more light secure area!

What's up OG !

Ahh ok I like the sounds of eshines. I've spoken with Mark at Platinum Grow Lights and to be honest, was not impressed.

Holy !!!!! Damn trichgobbla I'm sorry you've spent that amount! I hope you have some bad ass leds for that much money. I read and read reviews and forums and finally came up with the decision on the leds I purchased. I love them and would honestly buy more. Actually once I build my next grow room I will order at least 1 more

Krypt you could say that yes. Just the manufacturer for platinum I contacted directly and saved the $$$$$

It took me a few before I found the one I love but I own now.
1 mars 2 400
1 mars 2 900
1 mars 30 red spec
1 KIND l300
1 Amare Solar Spec 150 (epistar)
1 Amare Solar Eclipse 450-UVB (Cree)
But I'm very happy with my white led spectrum.
Let me go log on the web, I use 420 and can't load pics through it..
But I'm here, just still getting used to this site Trichs Travels On The LED Highway

Looks like we been down a similar road with the LEDs, lol or ouch...

K<SNIP>Jandre I hope we get this solved asap! I will grow photos one day, just need a more light secure area!<SNIP>

Dude! How much more light secure do you want it? You've got a grow tent! You don't need anything more than that. lol! You don't need 100% absolute pitch black darkness. Think about it, cannabis plants in nature have the full moon. People always think any light penetration whatsoever, even a pinprick will cause problems... not true... you can flood the whole inside of the tent with light, as long as it's not more than about a 15w to 20w incandescent bulb you're fine. Check this out... you could actually run a GREEN 100w light bulb 100% of the time even during lights out and never cause a problem. Plants do not absorb green light, they reflect it, it's why they appear green. Therefore, the flower period will not be affected at all by the green light at night. I actually have a green CFL just in case I need to get into my various boxes during lights out.

The casing on leds is fairly generic.. Why get casing made up when it's already made and you can fill it with your own components, which are already manufactured, just needs to order to fit the panels budget and spectrum.... Why some have cree others epistar etc etc...
