Cajuncelt's Spring 2015 Grow - Blue Dream - Bubba Kush - Critical Cure - Etc

I'm getting some Kind LED 1000w lights in 2 weeks at work to use on a small grow. I'm sweating that more than anything! Lol.
I talked alot smack about LEDs at 1st. I hope I can back it up & even blow it up.
We use Gravita Pros, double ended, HIDs. But, there's a local dispensary kicking out awesome meds with LED lighting only. They have created quite the stir.

Ha, a career path already! I'd love to see the info on breeding.

How cool that they have a concentrate aspect for you to learn. Wonderful.

I'm dying to know what kind of LED lighting they are using....you probably can't say here. I'm going to see if I can research and find out.

My lil ones at work got their tags today. So, they're official. Lol.

Congrats on getting your first tagged plants. I must admit, I'm getting jellier by the post but I'm proud of you more than anything else Cajun.

I see that Kind got a gear of the year award in 2014. Is the company lending you these lights for a small grow at home or a small grow at the office. How are you getting your Master Cultivator cert, in-house with the company, THC University......?

They're not new lights. My company bought them last year. They're being used currently. I get them next.
The Master Cultivator stuff is all in house. I'm not in a hurry though. Those guys have crazy schedules, etc.

Kind is an excellent light. It was the one I started out wanting but budget.... I do believe you'll be quite pleased with the results Cajun. It's such fun picking up on your joy. See? Change is good. :laughtwo:

I in all honesty, was very relieved to hear that. I do better than that on here with 1/8th of the resources there.
Whew.

So, here's some of my lil ones at home at a week old.
I leave about 3" at the top of the containers for few reasons.
1. It blocks direct air when they're tiny.
2. Mainly cause when they show their 1st 3-leafers, you can fill the containers up to the top. The stem below the new soil line will sprout lateral root systems.
Makes for a big root ball when they go into their veg pots in a few weeks.
Dust those with Mycos of your choice & they hit veg hard.

And yes, they are on my window sill in plain view. Not supposed to be visible, but I'm doing this legally! Can you wrap your mind around that?! I can open the door & show it off to the local cops.

It tickled me to come across this because I did this very thing the other day on instinct alone, not really understanding why I chose to do it. Now I find out that you were trying to teach me why. :laughtwo: Thank you Cajun. I appreciate the thought. :kisstwo:

I've heard different things in the research I've done on Kind. Apparently, you can dim the lights, they have a mix of 3w & 5w diodes, good spectrum, I.r., etc. I hope it's good. The lady using it now loves them, but is sticking with HPS.
I'm glad I could help you define your instincts! Lol.

Oh cool, let me know when you find out. Hey, that organization you belong to for women is pretty big around here.

Thanx Reg. I have seedlings with id tags on them. Isn't that crazy?!

Thanx Ms.D!

I've got more great news.
I am now officially a LEGAL caregiver today. I have 2 LEGAL patients I'll be growing for. I can't speak about their oil as it's still a felony to make concentrates at home here.
It's no big deal to anyone else here, but it's so freaking cool to me. I'm growing for a living, personally, for others, legally.
I have to find something soon to satisfy my outlaw side. I'm too old to snowboard. I might take up moonshine again. For those of you newer here, I used to make apple pie, peach, cherry & plain moonshine.

Jesus God, Cajun.....congrats and welcome to the legal world....I have tried to keep silent and just listen to you as you experience and you are....I think I boast my ass off too much and I try to really not post because of it, but the sheer joy is overwhelming and such a life long sigh of relief.....

Keep the critical information coming forth in the life of.....I can have 6 patients where I live....I have one slot open and I'm full...I cannot express the feelings....

I know CO well, Cajun...let me think of something that can satisfy your outlaw side...you are too funny...

It's so freaking cool to come here and it just keeps getting better. :laughtwo:

Shawnee Girl, boast away. Hell, you've earned the right. How wonderful that your life-affirming business is developing as you'd hoped.

Cajun.... Damn. Living the dream for real now. If it were raining here I'd go out and dance in it to celebrate. :battingeyelashes: :hugs: So happy for you.

Any recipes for your shine Cajun ;)

How do you become a LEGAL caregiver? Is that a Colorado thing? Can I do it in California? What's up with that, MountainCajun?

Shawnee, six? How do you make them (and yourself) legal? A co-op? Certificates of others at grow? What?

:thanks:

:Namaste:

Ps. Seems the oil will keep you an outlaw, MtCajun!

Hi John,

In my state if you want to be a card carrying medical patient, you go to the doc and he fills out paperwork, which is sent to the state, and you receive your card....to be a caregiver, you check the appropriate box and it states on my card that I am allowed to grow plants...to get patients, they name me on their application as the caregiver....they receive a card and I also receive a card in their name....if the po po ever came I whip out my cards as proof that I can grow plants in their name....I can grow 12 plants per patient, so with a full roster I can grow 72 plants legally...essentially a mini commercial grow.....fantastic....

Yes, it's a by-state thing.
In Colorado, the patient with a MMJ Registry card fills out a form declaring who their primary caregiver is that will be growing their allotment of plants. This could be a dispensary or an individual.
The caregiver keeps this paperwork & more at the grow site.
It's legal as long as you stay within the number of plants & keep all paperwork posted at the grow.
The majority of patients are allowed 6 plants. Cancer patients are allowed up to 99 though on a doctor's recommendation.
Each caregiver is only allowed a max of 99 plants though. That's supposed to keep the "black market" down.
