Ah, my two favorite guys from across the pond!
I think I messed up by not combining these grows. To hard to keep up & visit too. Now, I'm obsessed with LED, I have the 1 light popping up on all my journals too.
I didn't think this out well. Lol.
I should've had just 1 journal. Oops.
Welcome & jump in with help/advice on the light of you see something "off" please. Think I got the hang of it, for veg at least.

So 3rd times a charm. I'm replacing the current light with a Platinum LED P450.
It'll be here in a few days. Lots of excellent reviews. They're customer service is awesome as well. Thanx Mark w/ Platinum for all the info, direction & help.

I tried some UFO's and the little Kessler LEDs many moons ago. No bueno por caca...
These companies are starting to really nail down the color spectrum, output/input, ect.
No more brake lights or fish tank lights.
The growers are pioneering this tech too. If the mfg's don't know what's broke?
I mentioned somewhere that this un-named pro cultivator guy has about 12 LED lights, no HIDs, & a controller that revises the color spectrum of the light according to the plant's readouts. That's spooky cool.
All building codes & energy codes require LED in buildings. Ironically, I used to help a buddy make grow lights after he would steal street lights & warehouse exterior lights. Or...did I?
With that & prices coming down, I do now believe LED is the future. In a few years, new growers will trip out on our journals where we used HIDs. Kind of like getting away from Miracle Grow back in the '90s.:surrender:

Yep things have changed massively! Getting away from china made diodes and parts has been the biggest step. Now the best top flight diodes can be guaranteed for the exact spectrum/wavelength. This as said before is the game changer, when combined by the raw output of the top level diodes. The days of rating LED by bin level is a thing of the past!

Here's the gals under the Twilight light. I said in the other grow that LED is my new method for indoor grows from here on. The technology is there & just getting even more fine tuned. I'm sold.
Whatever these plants look like, I'm digging them.
Appears I've a new, vigorous, future dinner, mean, friend. He's claimed his territory. Any of you country boys here know what's coming unfortunately (I don't eat meat). My neighbors are gonna have a great Thanksgiving with this wild boar hog. They kill dogs around here. Real aggressive. Once here, they won't leave & do so much damage is crazy. Only wild animal with no dedicated hunting season. Hunting them is legal all year round.

Thanx P. I'm really impressed with the light. I love new tech anyhow. LED is finally there I believe. I've had to spend some time playing with hanging heights, but no issues yet (knock on wood).

Good morning cajun. Happy Skunkday. LEDs are definitely the way to go but I have noticed that the tent doesn't get as warm this time of year which isn't a plus. Those girls are looking really healthy and LEDs make them so pretty. Hope your day is going good.

The P450 is on flower & is 2' above the canopy. Net is not really a scrog. Frankly & humbly, I grow huge buds. I got tired of using stakes. I hope this light & I get along, but great Day 1.

It should all fill out really well man. I would put it in full spectrum though, not just "bloom".

Did you say you're using the bloom only switch? If so.. you'll want to be using the veg only switch or the veg + the bloom switch.. never just the bloom switch by itself, as it's meant to be a booster not a sole provider. When in doubt, run just the veg for young plants and getting them acclimated to the increased intensity..
..and yeah.. pictures are a challenge, eh? Keep playing with it! Try not to have too much dark and light within the same frame. The camera needs to get used to one or the other. If you have some darkness in there like you do, it will try to make both areas look good and neither will come out right. Take the photos fully under the light from the sides.. but without getting the LED lenses in the frame.

Ah hah. Thanks to you both. I'll switch the mode at lights on for sure.
I'll keep playing with the pics.
Ah, just looked. Both Veg & Bloom were on. I didn't realize you could have veg off. I might try that to let them finish the last few days before harvest. I usually raise my HPS's about a foot the last week. These lights killed MH for me forever. Now, let's see the important part. I think I'm going to be glad.

PS.. I'm very curious to see how your THC Bomb turns out. I have some experience (shall we say) with that strain and curious to see what phenos you get out of it.. as there seem to be a few.. and all varied. Long stetchy ones and short bushy ones.. and all in between. Funny thing.. the ones that looked like they would be just tall, stretchy and not as producing as the lower bushy ones? THOSE WERE THE ONES.
