CA215 Indoor #3

beautiful! loving the haze

Thanks b, they are stretching a lot. I have kind of let them go through the hemp string and am letting them stretch from here on out, so instead of a scrog on that girl it is more of a structural set up I guess :)

Gave each girl a top dressing. I mixed a red party cup with two guanos, some 1-0-0 which was about 9/10 the amount, and a dash of the dr earth norcal guano which was 10-3-1. Figured this would be enough N to run them out another month from there we will see how they stand. I proceeded to grab a gal of ro water with 2-3mL sensizym which is pretty much the same goodies as the guano just a liquid, so hopefully that in conjunction with the top dressing will help some issues we are seeing. Or maybe I just diagnosed the wrong problem, again, TIME WILL TELL! :loopy:

The Haze is looking real nice CA, bad luck with the Cindy's all turning out male though.

Definitely so, will see next time, I've poped some indica dom fem beans and am waiting for them to show tap root then onto the germ tray they go. :)

Im starting to think the soil content might get a little risky, borderline root bound. I was thinking back to when I transplanted these girls and they received a mere 3~ +- gallons of soil... I have since given them another gallon on top of that, maybe this could have been some of the issues I was seeing on the sage. Just typing some notes, going to let these girls run their flowering phase and see how they go :high-five:

Hi CA215,

Thank you so much for your reply.

I am growing indoor in a wc 1,2m x 1,2m. I plan to grow about 5 plants at a time with sativa, indica & hydric as well.

Growing medium I used is the nutrient soil special mixed for all kind of fruit plant like tomato, peanut, beans ect.

If I wait until a month or a month and a half till the leaves turns a bit yellow would it be so late for feedling?

By the way can I mix a small amount of each together?

Its my first time in this website so I really dun know how to start a growing journal or blog and how to make people come visit by and give comments.

Sorry for bothering your thread.

Thank you so much

Kaka

Should last me for years down the road :Namaste:

Little update on the tent, I have been bending and lightly "supercropping" some branches for better light coverage. What would ya guess, CAs heavy hand snapped something woops... The accidental topped cindy received an unintended second topping yikes. That poor girl..
Plans may be changing as always, she may not make it to that first hps day. Will keep an eye on her, have been checking local dispensaries for some special genetics, something tasty.. but I haven't found it. So in the meantime we will keep an eye on her, get her the water she needs, and see how she looks. Everything else is looking great, getting super bushy and with the bending and cropping I got going I should have some damn nice hedges here in a couple weeks, ready for flower :) Picture update in a few days, I want to see some comparable growth! I also sprayed my girls before lights on with 16oz of RO water with 1/4 microbe lift shock relief, bunch of beneficial bacterias. Watered with 2 gallons 6.8pH + 1tbsp unsulph molasses. No ill effects and the girls look wonderful :)
:peace: CA

You've been busy! :D Girls look amazing. Your like a mad scientist with these teas and amendments bro!

I love the low Ryder style. Those porta scrog a are awesome. I def see myself trying those out. Can't believe how bushy you got those girls. Screens a little full but I don't think you'll be too disappointed if it gets a little crowded.

I literally LOL'd when I read about your spider. I had the exact same thing happen to me. I was working on adjusting my LST strings a few months ago. I noticed a quarter size spider after I almost touched it. I dropped the pot right on the ground, jumped, and screamed! Lmao

I couldn't decide whether to kill it or let it live either. It really seemed to be benefiting my plants by eating all the small flies, or at least I'm assuming so cuz this guy was fat! I ended up killing it right under the eyes of my Buddha poster. Needless to say I was a little paranoid afterward lol. If it was outdoors I'd left it hands down but after my wife saw it too there was no way she'd be able to sleep.

Really sorry to hear about the Cindy's. I feel bad now. Ill do my best to make sure mine makes it.

Keep up the great work bro! Your killin it :D

Hi CA, I have created my own blog with some pics. Would be appreciated if you can pass by and give some advise urgently! Thank you KAKA

Hey KaKa,

I'm not finding your blog. Did you create a new thread or journal?

If your not sure go to grow room----grow journals---journals in progress and then click forum tools on the top right then click post a new thread.

You are doing some damn good training. I am sorry about the males. By the looks of it these will fill out your space anyway. I am noticing the leaves have gotten a lot bigger. :)

Thanks RS :) already contemplating the next grow after harvest, should get quite fun then :) No problems on the males, I now know one breeder to stay away from. The stretch on these girls is substantial, I can only see them getting... another 8" taller by the end of harvest, we will see in a couple months if my thoughts are true. Would be nice to have a bunch of foot tall buddage :Namaste:

No problem Kaka! I recently went to your new blog and posted some thoughts there, seems some others are tagging along too :)

Dang CA, 4/4 males! What a bummer. It may have been a blessing in disguise though, you now have the space for the remaining girls to really spread their wings and produce for you!

Amazing how hungry those sages are, how long will you keep adding the veg nutes before concede to yellowing leaves?
Definitely a bummer, but, I really do enjoy the practice of growing indoors. Everything helps, reinforce strategies or discard them :)
You cant get better without trying. right! :) And plus, I got them out before they spread pollen so I am happy as can be :thumb:
And your thoughts are mine exactly, i'm hoping for the extra space and circulation I will have some happy girls to produce me some happy buddage :Namaste: seems I may have some N sag/claw though, a little too much guano.

Thanks for stopping in mrbub! :Namaste: With your high brix adventures coming soon you are going to have to start giving these teas a shot! I have done it right, maybe once when I could see the results infront of my eyes, hour by hour they looked better. The last couple teas were ok but nothing special at all. HA! The spider thing was funny as heck, I left him and have not seen one flying gnat/fly since :) Although I still feel paranoid about spider in the house .. my buds will be bug free? Give and take I guess  I still have one more cindy bean but really think its a male.. I might try to literally place this in the dirt with no germ time and see if she grows at say mid feb, experimenting is always a kick :) casnt wait to see you take on those new beans you got bub! Stay well :joint:

I found it mrbub, right below our names we have a blog entries section, but I really do think you should make a grow journal Kaka! You will get a lot of help :Namaste:

I have some picture but not all uploaded, I will wait till I get everything in order to post those, for now, some of my homemade meds, dabbable full melt YUM.

Definitely going to undershoot guanos next time also.. thought these girls could handle it. Going to feed them plain phd water next feeding and possibly the following also. Any thoughts? :peace:

Hey ca215 how goes it buddy?

Is the plant your having problems with in a smart pot?

I say this cause I do not like the way vermifire works in smarties but in plastic pots it works a lot better.

just something i have been realizing here recently. What is your water source?

Steady my friend. Yeah these are "spring pots", little different with the wires and what not but same concept. Im really leaning towards the low level of soil in the beginning transplant.. thinking my crap job is coming to bite me in the butt. Let me bring that picture up..

As you can see those were fresh transplants being watered lightly.. now two months in after soil compacting. You can see where I am going with this.

I gave them atleast a gallon/gal and a half~ of soil on top of what they were growing in, so I think the screened sage is struggling with that as she towers over the other pheno. Waiting game now to see if they can hold off. I think the nitrogen thing should be ok for them as long as they can make it through the waterings :) I will keep that in mind for the outdoor season. I was thinking about going 2 plants same strains grown in same medium different pots, fabric vs regular black pots.

For water I have been using ro water from the new unit which is testing at 0 ppm everytime and 6.8 ph. I still test my ppm every time and my teas and nute doses always hit around 250-350 without being diluted, pH goes WAY down so I throw a dash of baking soda to bring it back up to "acceptable ranges".

Sounds like you got it under control. I know you want to feed the plant at acceptable ranges but adjusting the ph is risky imo. My meter crapped on me and I am getting better results now. Now If i was feeding an organic line of nutrients or something and using a sunshine mix or pro mix than I would be on top of the ph of feed water as well as runoff.

Keep doing what your doing buddy they look good. Just bouncing ideas and such.

Looking good bro!

Can't wait to get my hands on some screens and tomato cages now. High brix is still in the pipeline but unfortunately further down the road then I'd like.

Any thoughts on bubbling my nutrient/water mix overnight like you do with your tea? Right now I bubble my water and then add nutrients right before. I ask because the big bloom seems to have a lot of the same components you use in your teas. Also I could throw in some molasses too.

Gotta back Shotta up on this one. I quit ph'ng my feed/water too :) Ironically right after I bought my meter. I ran out of ph up and with my Tiger Bloom I was going through tons. Instead I cut back my nutrients. I was getting readings as low as 4 with full strength nutes. Now I'm usually in the 5.5-6 range. From there a ph neutral soil should easily be able to buffer it. I've seen a huge improvement in my plants. I think the huge amounts of ph up I had I use was hurting the plants more then helping them. I'm still struggling with my late flowering plants but I think now it's because I'm underfeeding which I'll take instead of over feeding any day.

And dude that full melt looks so dank! Can't wait to get that quality with my bubbles bags.

Keep up the great work! :Namaste:

I like PH around 6, wish I could help, but I have no exp. with Bat Guano, here is all I have to add on your Bat concern. Best luck, plants still look happy, I'm sure they'll pull through. If you have to flush, you need a LOT of water. Here's my Bat, hope you haven't seen already. Got him 3 times.
