C99 x Blueberry Fast: Pheno Hunting & Comparison Grow Featuring Alaskan Purple

Everyone survived the collapse of 2019

Probably loose some yield since they got pretty packed together, but I don't grow for yield anyways

Glad to hear it!! Good work triage :thumb:

Finally took the time to stake all the girls & tie up all the flimsy branches that were sagging.

They're getting heavy!
:thumb:

Plant #1 actually super-cropped itself as I was tying her up. Those branches got clipped for testers.

I think #1 will also be first harvested. Most tricomes are milky now.

AP is about 50/50 clear/cloudy

#2 is still around 80-90% clear

Hope y'all are having a great week!
:blunt:
Damn @Preston9mm looking good man :yummy::yummy::yummy: and @Chris Scorpio even with the hit they took they look dank :slide:

Here's my Manifold that got out of hand :hmmmm: she's hogging a 4 x 4 all to herself

Got some good pics today...

Yer Alaskan Purple looks wayyyyyyy different than mine

Well, I found my culprit.. I found what turned out to be nanners on my C99#2 (tri-line) plant. Thank you again to @Pennywise @InTheShed also @Amy Gardner for helping me through this whole situation. :thanks: After more investigation, there were nanners in nearly every lower bud on that plant. I ended up pulling it yesterday and harvesting early (5 1/2 weeks from flip).

And then there were three.

I found there was a small light leak where my cords enter the tent. I was hoping that because it was up against a wall, the light might’ve been faint/small enough to have been ok. But the more I think on it, it’s the most likely fit, especially since it was the lower buds, right where the leak was. I’ve looked over the other plants and haven’t found any other nanners so far.
I’m glad I took some clones from the non-nanner C99’s; I’ve still got a chance to try these buds sans seeds! (Knock on wood!)

Well done for having the strength to just cull it Heavenly. All your plants are/were a fantastic shape and structure hey! :thumb:

And on the early harvest, one of the cannabinoids that occurs in younger plants at higher concentrations is CBC. During my recent studies, we learnt that it is up to 10x more potent/effective than CBD for things like depression. I can’t say for sure that your plant might have higher levels of CBC, but there is a chance that it does. So It might make some very interesting medicine in edibles or dosing oil. Wish I lived around the corner so I could try some out!

Thanks for the support :thanks: It does bite the big one for sure. I’m learning my lessons about even the smallest of light leaks and nanners. I had no idea they’d be hiding inside the buds! Now I know where to look and what they look like. The buds are drying now and I’ll be sure to make use of them somehow, edibles most likely.

I just found a nanner on my Strawberry AKeil (#1). Plucked it & hoping I don't see anymore.

At least she is "harvestable" now, worst case scenario.

Glad you found it and that it was only one! Lol, I found about 75 on mine. #invasionofthenanners
Doesn’t it happen towards the end pretty often? (Just one or so, not 75) :laughtwo:

Found my scope so I checked trichomes today. Mostly clear with some cloudy. Girls continue to bulk up. I’ve decided that they are going to stay in the tent from now until the end. It’s too much of a hassle getting them in and out now that they are staked. Since it looks like I’m on target for harvest in two to three weeks, I just did a light feed today. They may start on water only next weekend.

I’ll try to get some trichome pics later.
