C99 x Blueberry Fast: Pheno Hunting & Comparison Grow Featuring Alaskan Purple

That ones looking nice and happy Bilbo!

I’ll add to the regret posts. I found some seed pods on my buds. Guessing I didn’t clean the tent well enough or there’s a nanner lurkimg somewhere. Mr. H has the day off tomorrow, so I’ll pull them all out and look them over closely. I’m bumming pretty bad about it. I’ll shake it off, just not there yet. :(

If ya didn't stress em, then a few random seeds arnt bad

Ya never know what u can get from them

I stressed my last bunch and they were autos somebody hermied and they got seeded. I’m thinking I didn’t clean everything well enough. Unless there’s a light leak I haven’t seen. I’ll know more tomorrow.

Thanks @Pennywise, I’m tryin.

Still going to be useful. Just have to sort the seeds out before using it. Just pretend you’re in the 70’s. Lol

Hey guys, checking in. C99xbb is a delicate plant. Probably not the best choice for roughing up.
@SeedsMan , I’m happy with these seeds. 100% germ. Consistent growth with my plants. I’ll be checking out your other stuff... :thumb:
I'm just battling humidity inside the tents. Pulled some dead leaves. AP is the one in the back.

What Penny said :high-five: I spy some huge colas, very nice!

Cheating and doing a bit of copy and paste from my regular journal:

C99xBlueberry FAST, a.k.a. “ Cinderberry” (Seedsman): pulled the girls out of the tent to get a better picture. Maturing well, as far as I can tell. I think these are going to be pretty dense buds. It looks like I’ll be getting some stakes to help prop these girls up. They have been leaning on each other and the walls of the tent for support, but that can trap moisture, so I’ll give them some better support.

Note on measurement, I’m using measurement from the floor, not plant height, because that’s the measure that matters for me most, because I can only raise my lights to 48 inches, or 1.22m. Subtract 8 inches or 20cm if you want height of the plant. Tallest cola is about 44 inches, or 1.12 meters. In my tent, that is a monster! I put the shorter plant directly under the light and have the taller ones on the edge, so far no issue with light burn, since the taller colas are getting more indirect light. Doesn’t seem to stop them from developing, but I’m paying for my error early on when I vegged too long. I think if I had flipped at 4 weeks, they would have finished their stretch at the perfect height for my tent, at about 40 inches, or so.

Very nice Big Bear. Lol, I think a lot of us are thinking - shoulda flipped earlier. Tall tall tall bunch. Lmao at your sorry not sorry!! :laughtwo:

Yeah, I've been able to stimulate more growth with some buds doing it. But I noticed the leaves and buds are super fragile with these. I have to admit your untouched colas are looking better than mine. :high-five:

Ok...gotcha...was gunna say they seem tuff to me

I need to try that some day...say that Episode on Vice Channel...looked cool

Sitting at nearly 4 weeks from flip over here. It’s getting pretty smelly when I open the tent, kind of a smokey lemon scent? Starting to thicken up a bit more too.

That might be the best photo so far... You are crushing it! :theband:
What kind of light is that?

Thank you for the kind words Bobby! I ended up finding some seedpods shortly after those pics. :( I have viparspectras, and they just became a sponsor on here a month or so ago I think. I like them all right, and they are very affordable compared to some of the others I’ve looked at.

I went in and did some maintenance work today. I pulled all the girls out and sprayed down the whole tent in case any more pollen is lingering. The damage is done, but I’m hoping to at least prevent any more from happening. I also closed myself in and I happily found no light leaks.
I staked up all the girls so now they can all stay in their lane.

The quadline C99#3 (the shortest) didn’t really need any stakes, at least not yet.

The tri-line (broken quad) C99#2 needed some support.

And the manifold C99#1 (the tallest one) needed so much support!! When taking it out of the tent they nearly all bent over to one side. I’m lucky none of them broke off.

As far as the seeded part goes, I don’t even know what to think. Sometimes I open what I think is a seed pod and it just has liquid inside. Other times I open it and it has plant material inside that sure as heck seems like a seed forming. I guess I’ll just be watching and waiting to see how it turns out..

So lame

I always manage to forget about my Alaskan Purple. After 13 weeks vegging, the time has come and I’ll flip to 12/12 today or tomorrow. She is short and wide, so I’m curious to see what happens in flower.
