C99 x Blueberry Fast: Pheno Hunting & Comparison Grow Featuring Alaskan Purple

Haha that sweat really begins once you aren't there to sign for your package and have to set up re-delivery :nervous-guy::thedoubletake:
I've gotten one from a different seedbank that required me to go pick up at the post office instead of delivering to my door. That had never happened to me, so I just left it.
I was certain the coppers were gonna be waiting for me there... lol

I just dropped in to say I am not going to watch along with you guys. I missed another grow challenge so I am just going to pout. It really hurts when it is run by a seedbank.

Seedsman did a great thing with this grow challege. I am waiting for them to start a photo grow that I might get to join in on in the future. Tell them I POUT. Enjoy you guys

That’s what happened to me with a prize sent from a seedbank. Worked out okay and I got everything, but the nerves were there.

I had 0% germ for mine...needless to say, I didn't post too much after that :laughtwo:

Me too

3 seeds and nada, the Blue dream was 1 for 1 germ and a huge plant and good smoke

Well, we are in the process of deciding participants so that seedsman can get packs out to people for pheno hunting and sharing the experience with everyone. It is also a place for whoever else is already growing her out to share.

So thank you for giving everyone a chance to see what they are in for before their beans arrive!! :p
TL;DR side by side comparison with other strains with environment and nuits

ok, thanks mate, well i suppose i can be helpful here then.
From left to right, side by side comparison, all germinated at the same time, from the same supplier with genuine sealed grower packs.
c99 x bb x fast, #1skunk x fast, chilly x fast, white widow x fast.
So far it's growing really quick, I'm about 2 and a half weeks in from germination.
It's on par with the skunk in size and stature which is good cause skunk is one of the easiest and hardiest I've grown in the past.
All 4 are under a 125w 6400k cfl for now and will eventually get their own cfl to themselves
16.5 on, 7.5 off, 30 degrees under and 20-degree night ( celsius) %70 humidity and in coco/perlite mix
Nuits are as follows
diluted Lucas formula, so still 1:2 but diluted to allow for my other nuits
monstagrow (aussie product) part organic all-rounder derived from kelp and beeswax)
rhizofuel (root accel)
Enzymes ( any enzyme will do)
unsulphered molasses ( treat the coco not the plant)
i start with the additives and the LF until at ec
currently sitting at 1 ec and 6.1PH

keep in mind that none of these will go into fruiting as all will become mothers and then produce another mother. i do this for a few reasons, firstly to allow the plants to adapt to my environment over the course of 6 months, ill take the very best clones and only keep the fastest growing one, evolution is hastened indoors, furthermore it removes smell and allows for easier cloning on the next lot since ill take heaps and i'll expect at least %80 success rate.

ill provide ongoing pics of them as they grow if you guys like. Not sure if that is something you would be interested in.
I hope this is both informative and helpful.

I have great luck with germed seeds, so was very unhappy with the no shows of the Brooklyn

But, I also think that is one reason breeders do these types of comparison

I have a decent success rate, but I am also pretty irreverent in my method....but I was rethinking my soil after 0% germ (wasn't the soil)

No it was genetics for sure

I thought the fast meant "auto" also...but no...it's a photo...it just finishes real "fast" hence the name :high-five:
