Yup, had to tell them, when they come up to stay there's no way I can hide it from them. My oldest, the one coming over tonight scares me a little, he's been so damn straight lately. He used to smoke quite a bit, but not any more. He's the one who did two tours in Iraq. My youngest is real cool about it, hell, he even offered to get his card to sign me up as his caregiver. He doesn't smoke any more, didn't really get into it. He's a skateboarder and all, was even sponsored for a long time, so he's pretty cool to it, just doesn't get into it.
Funny, my oldest and I were talking, he insists pot is a gateway drug, but won't admit that both he and his brother tried it and stopped. That doesn't sound like a very big gateway to me.
I hear you about the NASCAR. I'm not really into it, but I agree, it must be crazy to be driving 190+ and be able to reach out and touch the guy next to you.

Hey FPF..Been watching in the background. Things are looking great. I just wanted to say as far as the liquid carboload goes, i suggest using it the whole grow. But durring veg you dont have to use as much as in flower. a while back last year in my Butchers Pride journal i posted some info on "Carbstacking". Its basiclly when your doubling you carbs. Carbs help with plants respiration, which in turn allow the Plant to proccess Light better via stomata. Speeding up and helping the plants with the photosythesis process. I use liquid carboload and GH's floranectar at the same time durring flower. Carbs do not mess w/ your N-P-K ratio. I use 1 tsp.Per gallon durring veg and use 2 tsps' of Liquid Carboload and 2 tsps' of Floranectar durring flower. And I think it make a difference. This is not mandatory by any means. But I've had positive results using this process. I just wanted to ensure you that using the carbs will help w/ your grow and yeild as a whole. Best of luck.

I did the same FPF with Sugar Daddy and it seems to have helped me as well.

Thats cool that they know and haven't flipped out. Some people just cant wake up in the morning and go to work and come home and chill out and smoke a joint. Some people dont even come home to a beer. You never know though, they could join you in the grow one day lol.
Btw, I dont see how marijuana is a gateway drug. Its the only drug that literally makes you wanna do nothing.

You'll like them. Its funny, that none of the nute companies really educate us on carbs. and how they really benifit the plant as a whole. i would think they would really hone in more on the photosythesis process and how carbs benifit from it. its just wierd, cause honestly It helps so much.

hey Butcher, thanks for confirmation. That's what I love about this place, you kind of think out loud and you get a lot of great input. I'll add the carbo load tomorrow and keep it in the regimen until the end, about 6 weeks from now.
Hey, they've finally realized it, Dad has smoked since long before we were born and he's a pretty good guy. Plus they know alcohol will kill me and pot just makes me mellow. They're pretty smart kids.
Hey guys, I have a question. Are the carbo loads organic and does that do anything bad in hydro. Butcher I know you said it does affect NPK but do you think it might affect PH?
Both of my kids know as I never have been able to hide much and have no interest in doing it anyway. One is a fellow grower and the other is a police dispatcher. Both are cool about it and know Mom and Dad need our meds. They see it as a postive experience. That's what happens when you give good kids their head so they can think and learn and dream on their own.

carboload is Basicly blackstrap molasses thats been rendered down. This is the reason why it doesn't effect the NPK. And it doesnt effect the my Ph. Theres no real acidic or akaline ingredients in it.

Pretty much. I know they add a couple more things then just the molasses. But its there to serve the same purpose.
Social: I stand By Kool Bloom. It works great. Just lowers the hell out of my PH. Be thats completely fixable.
Sorry C5R..I dont mean to flood your thread w/ post. And totally missed your question yesterday..Floranova's cool. I prefer the 3 part g.h Ove it though. Not that its a bad thing, cause its not. 3 part is just what I prefer.
