C5Rftw's 2nd Deep Water Culture Grow

C5R, Howdy again things are lookin good in that vet, I've got the same problem, my one plant in the front closet is getting so big and bushy I'm getting no light around the bottom either ! You've got a shitload of lights on that one grow ! I was worried about trying to hang anything else in there cause I'm worried about the amount of things I have plugged in! I'd like to add a few more cfls to my 400 hps for side and lower areas . I've already have my 400 hps a 4" fan a small circulating fan and a air pump, and 2 65 watt cfls, plus this is my heater closet so I also have a furnace in there ! Do you think a couple more 65 watt cfls would be too much wattage ? ( I know dumb question without totaling everything up but I wouldn't know where to start). Looks like you've got your shit together C5R, this grow you may just outdo your self !! :thumb: :peace:

A couple more 65w would help for sure! Thats great that you can contain that heat. Those 65w are cool runnin so they shouldn't add too much heat

Soil isn't necessarily safer Roseman, but much easier to start, but IMHO much harder to perfect because you simply cant control them as easy as you can with Deep Water Culture... so what I mean is, So far, I can easily grow much better plants with hydro than with soil, and its been tough getting my soil plants to perform like say, Major Tom!!! lol those plants are insane!. Not to mention, SS soil plants are looking VERY! good too... Impressive

Man those ladies are filling in nice ! But why did you sprinkle all that sugar all over your buds ? wont that attract bugs ? :peace:

You know, I'm not sure just how much my buds fattened up the last week or so. I don't know what to say, if I was doing something wrong or whatever. I didn't flush, I kept the nutes at a moderate level, and added the Liquid Carbo Load for the last month. I may just try something a little different this time. I am adding the Big Bud this time, that goes with the regular flower nutes, and I'll start the Carbo Load in probably a week or two. I gotta get some more mass this time! I had three great buds, but that was about it. This time will be better!

you got any big plans for the weekend? None here, my oldest son is in town so we'll head to dinner, but he's gotta get home to the wife and kids so he'll be leaving early.

Usually, those supplements help a lot.. I think I'll be getting some GH supplements for my next grow... should help. It would be interesting to see atleast. I think it would have to help something right?

yah no plans here... Just watching NASCAR, I know a lot of people hate it, but i love it.. I just couldn't imagine being in a pack 30 cars going 190 just a couple inches away from other drivers fighting for every inch and then doing that for 500miles!

Fry, do your sons know about the grow? I think I have asked you this already
