Thanks MC! they are thickening up quicker than last time.. Im excited to see what this grow does! But I gotta get my act together and build the mystic cloner and get clones going for the next grow.

Wow they look like their ready to explode with buds !! I take it you've been topping etc. Looks like plenty of sites for giant colas !!
actually, the plant in the picture is not topped at all, but it is my strongest plant by far.
Sure looks good , plenty of bud sites! What are you feeding it ? Do you use any additives besides reg grow and bloom ?

I will be adding Cal-Mag, once they get to 3 weeks. So far, I've just been using Flora Nova
Cool I just picked up some Cal-Mag today, my new grow is starting to have a few brownish gold spots I'm hoping that the cal-mag will fix that ?! I'm finally smoking some of my first hydro grown weed !! Seeing that there's no dough to buy any weed! Timed that just right ! Now let me get this next grow done then I can maybe see selling a bit so I can eat too!! 
I just hope this grow will turn out as nice as those pics you posted above !! nice healthy grow C5R !!

I wish I could see pics of your grow. Usually they dont need cal-mag til flowering. Is it starting on the oldest leaves first or the youngest/newest growth?

And as far as having more harvest, Im doing what Jonny and Fry are doing, Veg rooms! My new light should be here next week. If you can do it, it should help a lot and even though hydro is very quick, it would still be nice to have it a little bit quicker!- Thread starter

The golden brown seems to be on some of the larger leaves the new ones are still nicely green and the plants in general are doing great drinking about a gallon a day. I've had this on both grows where I'd be using bottled water.
Now that does sound like cal-mag.. Hopefully it helps the grow!
ol hippy, when I see the words "golden brown spots" or "gold on leaves" I think of HEAT MOISTURE STRESS, and LIGHT BURN, or too powerful lights too close. I'm probably wrong, but you might investigate it.

Yep, nothing like stretch... until they are headed for the HPS bulb like an out of control Toyota lol! Not that I know anything about that...
My lights about 15-18" above I've been using Cal-mag for the last 2 days will see if that fixes it .!! Temps are low 80s - lower 70s at night.
