Well, I just ordered a new light. Im using this for my clone/veg closet which currently has the 7 plants for my next soil grow. Right now they have 8400lumens in 2700k. they are doing good 6-8" tall. This new light will have 40,000 lumens in 6400k.. perfect for vegging. I will also use this as my Hydro Veg room once I get the soil going so I can have some vegging while my current grow is flowering. I saw what FRY and Jonny were doin and I got be doing that. here is some details of the light

yah I see what you mean. If you go to 2' you get half the output but it still cost 200+ dollars so I agree with yah
Mostly, Would it fit if you hung the 4' lamp on a slight angle ? Or do you think that would adversly effect the way the light would hit the plants ? Or maybe two sets sort of / \ that would be a shit load of lumens but maybe abit impracticle !Just a thought from an ol stonner...

Ol hippy, that is a great idea.. two of those at an angle would be nearly the light of a 600w HPS! I dont know about MC, but thats probably what I'll end up doing cause I need room for a mystic cloner too.. Im gonna put it and the veg tank in there.
Now Im about to make the new tub. I was thinking. should I put 8 or 6 holes in it. Im worried the plants could get to cluttered and I would have to cut way to much root mass to get em free.. I would rather just leave em in the same lid. maybe I will have enough for room for two tubs. I think I might.
With the layout of my closet I don't think it would work in the area that I planned it for but since I added another grow site in there it may work. Right now that's where I have my 400 hp. Made me think . . Thanks. I speak old stoner fluently!

thats a bad ass light i was thinking about getting a t5 for veg n sept. way cooler than the mh 400 and its more lumensand uses less electricity

yah, it will be awesome.... I cant wait!! for some reason, I wasn't this excited when my 1000w light was on order. I guess cause this will really change things.. It will save me a month or two and I can turn around very quick and always be flowering and always be vegging.
I just did a RES change. 4 week old water.. smelled horrible!! Not a protruding smell, but rank. Glad to have that fresh water in there. Oh btw, the entire 12 gal is just filled with roots. when I air em out, the plants were very heavy.. Im loving it.. I went ahead and kept the water at 1000ppm.. Trying to stress as little as possible with the RES change.
