Yeah, my friend gave me the skunk seeds , not these 3 mystery seeds. But I know what you mean. How can you tell. He just rolls em, looks at the dimple, feels the dimple and then rolls it into a pile. I'm a lil bit skeptical. We'll see on these Skunk plants though.

The 3 mystery seeds were leftover freebies he got from his seasonal order. I actually germed around 15 I believe, ALL were asst freebies. Only theses 3 made it to mature plant. The one in the corner was twice as big and grew twice as fast so we thought, male. We are newbies, that's for sure. Gotta tell ya, we are having FUN growing!....

Growing is a lot of fun, I've only been doing it about 5 years now. Always something new to learn everyday. Keep up the good work

Type in how to make colonial silver from a coin on YouTube you need a bettery some wire and anything silver. connect the wires to battery and silver place it in water and leave for a day it will cause small particles of silver to break of and remain in the water then gently mist the buds you want to have seed on and hey presto 100% fem seeds u can also buy (colodial silver) not to sure on the spelling but you can use this to just make some buds have seeds instead of them all wouldn't recommend smoking the misted buds after the chop thou

IIRC there is some info here somewhere about resexing plants that goes something like...separate the male candidate then 3 days lights out, then 12/12 for a week, then back to 18/6. Something to that effect, but do a search just to make sure. I'm almost sure I'll get an unwanted male from my 4 bagseed babies, as heaven only know where they came from or how old they are. Once I run low I will think about saving 1 decent looking male to get some fresh seeds, but thats a long ways in the future as I have so many. I only have 100 or so from various decent strains that I kept separate from the unknown stuff to use first. Wish I really knew what the rest are lol.

That's good to know. Check out that supercrop you help with. Stem is split but mending nicely. Hoping for a knuckle. A Korean neighbor told me of a method called stabbing. I'll try it later, involves a sterile safety pin. You pierce the stem straight through 3 or 4 times in the same area around the stem where you want it. It repairs the wounds ,causing a knuckle. I'm a bit hesitate. ...

Well last night something topped my Skunk plants -*Jose and Maria*. Probably a bird or mouse. So I'm probably going to get a replacement of some sorts. Back to the drawing board. Need to build a safer area to put the young'uns.

Wow, grew a new top! This guy was almost topped completely. The other was, and has grown 2 new leaves and is re-growing its top as well.
Ok, here it goes! I thought if you top a plant, it does not regrow the top but uses the existing 2 stems before the top to regrow?...

You will see knuckles form at most joints but the biggest will be the wound itself, you may want to cover the exposed area though to help it heal faster! I see new growth already below it!. My girls all took to it within 3 days and they are VERY much bigger with tons of new budsites and growth all over. I am working on the theory of selective SuperCrop or HST, where I just wound the plant in strategic areas to cause the plant to grow more where it needs, to help fill it out here n there when doing a free standing bush. I'm hesitant an doing Scrog as you cant rotate the plants easily for light. I guess I will have to design a moving light rack next! TC and Cheers!

The wounding causes release of Oxins through the plant, which tell it speed nutrient to the affected area and any new growth. I read that somewhere on the forums here. I agree that it does strange things to them, but I like what I see so far. I'm starting to think the more strange they look the better the yield & quality....hmmm must explore
