In Canada we celebrate Harvest Sunday -- we call it Thanksgiving but it's a straight up Harvest Festival -- in October each year. As far as I know the British don't celebrate in a formal way, although there is a Harvest Sunday on the Anglican church calendar so what the hell, eh? But it is true that more and more Brits are eating turkey for a big holiday meal (including Christmas), rather than goose, capon or beef.
