Budworshipper's New Organic, DIY, CFL, Grow

Hiya ricky..... Im running a 4" fan ( 110m3)... It is attached directly to the filter... Then the ducting goes out of cabinet and into a DIY vented, lidded bucket... The smellies are placed in there loose... Just letting the air flow over it and out the drilled holes

Total ducting length is approx 1.75 metres... The end, white plastic cost approx £2.20/$4... It screws onto the ducting...

The whole of upstairs now smells all " frou frou"... The hoover disc is about 3mm thick x inch and half.... Potent little thing...
:Namaste:
That's a good little set up there. Have you looked into any diy carbon scrubbers?

I made my own and it works great. U could put it in place of that bucket and walk away and not worry about it for a year or two or more. Just an idea if u have to change out the stuff in the bucket too often. I have allergies and the foofoo smells a lot of time bother me but if they don't bother u then it's great for make ur house smell good!

The scent is gone but the MJ is still there... strange isn't it!?!

Yeah mate... Whatever i can do to be stealthy dude....

Stay off radar at all costs.... Yeah i smoke indoors, but often outside.... If i could smell it growing , however faintly.... Someone else will....

As we are still criminals for doing this over here.... I'm going " Nap of the earth" with my grow. :passitleft:

I have looked into the homemade filter/scrubber...

Effectively i could can have a carbon scrubber with old air exiting thru it, to catch strong or stubborn odours, that the carbon filter inside the cabinet " missed".... 1 fan driving draw thru filter and moved air pushed into scrubber.. Is my thinking correct mate ?, just trying to picture it my mind... Once ive got that locked in my noggin... Im sorted.

Thankyou Mr A..... It is amazing how fast they change... once they get their skates on, they really do move

I do wish i had a more powerful light source tho.... Still chuffed they happy n healthy tho...

Hey Mr A.... Guess who had to get the Topgun OST up on " ME-PIPE" the other night ????

Mighty wings, danger zone..... The lot.

Thanks for dropping by fellow brit...:passitleft:

Lol I just have one in my room that the air is pulled through and then exhausted out and it's the cleanest smelling air ever. No need for anything further

I was thinking to save u room in ur cab just put it outside in place of the bucket. Air would get pulled from the cab and forced through the carbon scrubber and should 100% eliminate any odor. I don't think you would need anything on the inside at all. I went overboard on mine and use more materials than necessary but I could get by with probably 20-30 bucks out of pocket. When money is right it's worth a try. I could send you the walk through I used to make mine in pm. Should do a diy thread sometime.

So, i thought... I will have a nose around in the loft, coz i was bored...

Wondered about the possibilities of the space... Drying/vegging etc etc.....

Anyways, someone must have had the same idea... Naughty naughty

Never knew it was there....

That costs 29.97 for a 50 ft'er at home depot. I have a loft that looks exactly like that. With the materials and everything lol. I thought about using it as well but it get's way to cold up there with these buffalonian winters and their lake effect snow.

Happy Thanksgiving Bud, enjoy your food with you and yours!

And now a few progress shots

The runt, seems to ignoring convention and is perservering with the 3 part fan leaves

The big girl is really moving now... Lots of width gained in a few days.... Branches are punching thru the foliage and heading for the light..

I think stretch is slowing height wise.... The top seems to be more interested in making flowers now... We shall see...

She was fed 500ml if water, 2 mls of bloom, 1ml of grow + mollasses 2 days ago.... She is starting to use the drink quicker now... Next fed will be stronger and more volume... Only had run off once so far.. She seems to be getting a thirst on... Happy days

I think we posted at the same time....

Looking good Bud! Last time I mentioned the size she was 2 in shorter and 2 in less wide. Let's see if I'm on track, last time I was exactly half that in half the time......................... ok, so I checked and she is 7 in tall (after the LST) and 11 in wide. We are catching up Bud lol. :passitleft: Not as much foliage though. No where near it yet.

Happy thankgiving RB, i trust the holidays are going well in Buffalo....

I bet it does get cold in your loft.... My old space was baking while i built it and bloody freezing when i dismantled it... Not that we get the extreme weather here in southern UK.... I love the snow n cold tho

Yeah mate, we could start a DIY thread... Get others too post their DIY handywork too...

Happy turkey day my friend... I will have to wait for xmas to get mine...

To get your what?? Sorry I kind of got lost there for a min.....

Over here in UK, we dont do thanks giving, just xmas... Thats when i get my turkey dinner dude.... And this year i aint gotta cook the bugger :yahoo:

I normally put onions in base of roasting dish... Put bird on top... Couple of bayleaves... Then an inch of water, wrap her tight, last half hour, unwrap n crisp skin up..... When i left her out, she so moist, the legs n wings stay in the tray.... And the breast meat is super moist... I can normally remove both breasts whole.... Easy carving...

Now im craving turkey dinner, bet it smells fab all over the US right now. :circle-of-love:

That's interesting. At the college yesterday they did a brief history of thanksgiving and they said that 20 years ago nobody in the uk celebrated it and now 4 out of every 10 people celebrate it, in comparison to the U.S who's stat is 8/10. I guess your that 60% that waits til Christmas huh? Sounds fantastic. I roast mine slowly for about 4-6 hours depending on how much it weighs in at. I jab the knife all over it and stuff my homemade mix into every wound. Potato slices and olive oil on the pan, cover it with aluminum foil, set it to 275-325 depending on size and let it sit! She's in there now doing her thing.

Didnt know anyone celebrated it over here.... Mind you there are places not far from here that will have celebrations today.....

Namely a big ass USAF base....

With whats been kicking off in france n europe, there has been some night time Sonic booms overheard... It might be just MR Amazin tho, buzzing the tower before landing in my journal....

Hiya MR A..... wooah, just flew thru ya jet wash... Ive lost an engine, in a flat spin heading out to sea... Mayday, mayday, scramble the rescue chopper !!....:rofl::rofl:

Yeah mello i might be wrong and in the " just xmas" 60%......

I like the idea of thanksgiving.... but im definatly anti Black friday.... Another commercialisation of a public holiday... Its about family time, catching up with relatives etc etc.... Not going batshit in a shop at midnight... Greedy companies exploting good folks....

We get that over here now... People fighting each other for a tv last year... Police called.... Nightmare.... And the retailers love it...

its so wrong, on so many levels..... " courtesy flush ":rofl:

Hope your day is going swimmingly....
