Things are well... I hope they are with you as well.

1/2 a tube! :yikes:
How big is your tube? How do you run half a tube anyway? :hmmmm:

My tube holds ~14g depending on how chopped up the material is and how tight I pack it. Seems to work best ~12-14. Too tight and it seems to not flow through the material evenly. I've been thinking of getting a larger tube as I've heard most folks use 1 can per oz. I'm using a whole can for my 1/2 oz.

I'd love to get a quick summary of the gear you gentlemen use to make your bho...including vacuum chambers. I love my bubble, but there's a lot to be said for really good oil too. I simply haven't dug into it...I suppose I need to

:420: has some concerns about discussing the process too much. I'm unclear about where the lines are.
I blast into a square Pyrex dish, then use a razor to scrape that pan onto parchment paper. I put the parchment paper into my vac chamber made from a mason jar. Vac pump came from the auction site (less than $50 delivered). I ordered a vac gauge from my "Prime" membership site, and all the other manifold bits came from the local hardware store. I apply heat with a regular heat gun I bought at Ace hardware 10 years ago. My gun has temp settings, so depending on ambient conditions in the basement one of the lowest 2 settings seem to work well.

Here is a pic of my rig before I added the gauge.

I just had to buy another T and nipple to add the gauge. Oh ya and the vacuum hose came from the auto parts store. Also that is a pint jar, I now use a quart jar. Notice how the jar looks dirty in some spots? That's oil from when I let the "muffin" get too big. :blalol: There is some all over the lid's fitting too.

I give my buddy Buck here all the credit for getting me into wax/oil. Thanks again Buck :Namaste:

I think the concerns of 420 are they don't want people blowing themselves up. There's a lot of idiots out there who don't put safety 1st & butane is highly explosive & volatile. I would strongly advise being outside or in a very well ventilated area when making your oil :)

and don't carry anything electronic no lighters in fact do it nude
seriously tho make sure you have nothing in any pockets in a open well ventilated area like a 20 mph wind blowing

I've got the larger tube and I was wondering the same things you are. I just ran 2 cans through about 1 oz. today, and the 2 or 3 inches closest to the screen is still pure grit. I don't even really pack it tight either. :hmmmm: Maybe I need to use a less fine screen or put less in it.

Hey if you get the creeps easy Buckshot don't get on the internet somebody posted this weird pic of a dress if you try to look at it the colors keep changing from white and gold to blue and black it was online because of that people were freaking out now I see why damn that was scary watching it change back and forth like that I don't know how they did it never mind I don't want to know glad I got a night light don't look at that before you go to bed if you do :(

they showed it on tv it just looked like blue and black with different hues
its an eye thing anywho I wouldn't worry too much about the screen size
itll still flow through :thumb:

That dress was creepy, everyone saw a different colour/color haha

while folks were looking at the dress

a lot has happened

I suggest folks stop looking at the dress

is your 'screen' your filter? I use 4 layers of coffee filter (a single filter folded in quarters, rubber banded around the tube, then trimmed. I reuse this filter). I have taken the microscope to the waste material. It looks like I get most of it. I see lots of stalks but no heads left.

So if you use 2 cans for an ounce, my 1 can for a half sounds about right. Thanks PC :)

Hey Folks

You have not seen me due to the fact my internet was down... and stuff. I have just gone for water... 15 gallons, it's ladies night :cheesygrinsmiley:
