2' of snow coming... one of my brothers will get 3' yay

Happy MunchDaze Buckshot:).....we have a very slight chance of some flurries tomorrow....but we hardly ever get inches....and i love the snow:)

Fuck snow. I'm sooo done with it :blalol:

This winter hasn't even been that bad for us. We're almost completely melted right now (roads, driveways, sidewalks that is, lots of snow on the lawn etc). I grew up in socal. Living in the snow was fun 15 years ago, but I think I'm over it. :biglaugh: I want to wear shorts and sandals everyday. :surf:

Mrs Hiker and I have researching living abroad pretty heavily the last week or so. We're undecided about where to go yet, but I'm only looking at places that get NO SNOW. :biglaugh: I've got to do some research on the cannabis laws obviously, but we're looking at south america (Equador or Peru) and se asia (Thailand, Cambodia, Laos). I can do my job from anywhere there is an internet connection, so we've finally realized we're wasting the biggest perk this job has to offer.

It looks like my part of WA if getting pretty lucky. There is a whole mess of ugly swirling past us to the north. Doesn't change my mind about moving. I wanna live where it's warmer. Socal is too expensive, but I can afford to live near the beach outside the US.

Sorry about that Buck, saw your post about snow and of course these thoughts were already at the top of my mind. :blalol:

I knew what you meant and am very glad they are not dead. I caught 2 illnesses back to back last week that had me in bed for a week. I hadn't checked any res's for 6 days. All the ladies were OK though. :MoreNutes:

We're in the blizzard zone here Buck; dead center. Could end up with 3ft or more. They're saying it can be the worst in 30yrs, even talking about closing the public school system. That's rare in this city. I'm with Hiker though, snow is fine when your a kid but just this one time I'll be happy to let my daughter see the type of blizzards we had growing up.

And they didn't close the schools back then!

thanks for the posts...been a rough day, I will post soon

Hawaii is good with good MJ laws..........BUT.........Bring Money!

Well

The wind is whipping, temps are dropping and the snow is picking up. I hope all those in this storm are safe.

:cheesygrinsmiley: Flurries are nice! We will have a little snow, you may have as much as you want!

I feel a hint of sarcasm in that yay

yup... it is the 40-80 mph winds that scare me

:cheesygrinsmiley: Snow is awesome! Blizzards are really fucking awesome.... until the power goes out :cheesygrinsmiley:

I hope your recovery is complete... you know the saying, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. It is kind of true.

Man I can't even imagine where they are gonna put all that snow!!!! I hope things are OK

How much grass'll fit in that cone? RAW makes these 12" long papers I could probably lick 4 or 5 of them together and turn the whole thing sideways if it don't hold enough.....

P.S.: Brrrrr!

PC That thing is HUGE I wager at minimum 2 clean zips maybe 3 ... and yes it is also gonna get cold, really cold

I lived in MI and CO. Snow was fun in my 20's. Sucks ass in my 50's. Accordingly, see below

I do... :surf:

Buck, I hope it's not too bad.

:peace:

It is more... challenging :cheesygrinsmiley:

Big old Bags of it!!! I recommend the Philippine Islands, you could live like a King

I hope you're enjoying the extreme weather conditions buddy & keeping warm :)

CA was our original destination. I am from socal. Mother and a LOT of family are still in socal and some in the bay area (including some of my wife's family). We have a place to live in Weott even. We were pretty set to move down there, but it's really expensive. Like they say, 'ignorance is bliss'. Well I know better now, so I'm having trouble spending all that $$. I'm after a certain lifestyle, and, on my salary, I can't afford it in CA.

Buck, have you lived in the Philippines? What city? How long? When?

My wife is more interested in Asia than S America, but I'm leaning towards shorter/cheaper flights home and only moving a couple time zones. I will still have to work with folks in the US, so the schedule in SA is preferable to SE Asia.

PC the little green dot is always on! :cheesygrinsmiley: when I have power! ... but I am not always here :cheesygrinsmiley:

Reg, we are still getting snow... looks like it will top out around 25-30" still got power though!! YAY! it is light and fluffy so it has been easy to move around, kind of...

Hiker, you do not want to live where I was stationed... not the nicest town, unless you are a young lad in the Navy :cheesygrinsmiley: but seriously there are seriously beautiful places and cheap like you can not imagine... look up property!

edit -- seriously? :cheesygrinsmiley:

looking into Philipines. Looks like the "island lifestyle" we're after.
thanks for the tip :)
