I’m leaning that way too Brix. My Candy Cane and Royal Gorilla both exceeded my own expectations with TTF, and it has me thinking..... I’ll have to run a Carnival in it to get a decent comparison from my perspective.
I can say the Candy Cane I just jarred up was every bit as frosty and fragrant as I was getting with RX Green at a much higher cost. It’s almost time to reorder the gallon bottles of RX and I’m beginning to consider a switch.
Mega Crop will be my next adventure. I may keep the clone of IIP that’ll get here in a week or so in Mega Crop. Easy for you to manage when I jet off to parts unknown. Lol!
Another harvest to assist with.
The second Lemon Lotus x Love Gift comes down today. I took time before breakfast to strip the fans for Brix.
Sometimes it’s super good to be me.
She’s frosty and s-t-I-c-k-y....... hehehe! Nothing better than starting the day with sticky fingers. WooHoo! We’ll get the rest of her trimmed later.
As a favor to Brix I’ll let the sampling of this Amazon be the very last time I smoke indica that isn’t
It’s It Punch. I’ve been testing his Pineapple Chunk samples this past couple days, daring last night to test the first of the Lemon Lotus x Love Gifts, and when I woke up in tears at 2 AM I determined to stop beating my wings against that indica window from now on.
About that Pineapple Chunk comparison...
I went at this with some control in mind, first starting the day with the a fresh sample of each (2 consecutive days), smoking just until I felt euphoric. I wanted to see how much of each sample that took. It was four teeny hits in both cases. The euphoric experience was different only in that the second sample had a sense of “lightness” that was particularly pleasurable that I didn’t find in the first sample. Sample 2 was more “stoney” in my experience.
At those first tastings I didn’t notice much difference in structure, appearance, trichome expression and development, or smell, for that matter. My notes mentioned nothing outstanding in terpene expression from either sample.
Duration of the euphoric experience was the same for both samples. Sample 2 was more potent, in that it took one hit less of sample 2 for me to get to the same euphoric spot.
The samples were closed up and set aside for a day off, then a sampling of each was repeated in one day, within a set timeframe of 30 minutes, taking a full two hours between samplings to let the ECS settle.
This time I noticed a profound difference in terpene expressions. Sample 1 remained nondescript, but upon opening the second sample the terpenes were already beginning to ramp up to a very pleasant dankness. At this point I began to suspect this was a kit sample, a belief that panned out when I presented my findings to Brix.
My impressions? From a medicinal perspective we understand that it’s the terpenes that direct the signaling actions of cannabinoids. Put simply, it’s the terpenes that determine the euphoric experience and the medicinal value. If I were creating medicine for a patient using cannabis therapeutics the kit would be a preferred choice over TTN, simply because I’d be certain I was getting the best medicine I could.
Other than that.... the Octopot with TTN tripled the yield of this chemovar over the kit version, and from a production standpoint, this can’t be overlooked. Differences in euphoric experience were negligible from one sample to the other, both were happy, relaxing times, a report that’s been consistent with all testing participants.
I’m looking forward to hearing Rooster’s take, and he’s making a stop today, so that report won’t be too far off in the future.
