I’m learning that environment is everything then light then nutes.
Yeah, it's making all the difference. I have to invest in a good humidifier. I think it will make a difference for my wife and i too. We get so dried out when we sleep.
Yep. When the environment is right and the soil is alive and happy, this stuff is super easy. But nothing goes right if the environment is out of check by a lot.
Thanks Doc, ill be sure to keep it in check. They are growing again, hope they speed up. I cant wait to switch.
You can only do what you can do at it pertains to humidity. I know for me in the North East, I won't see 50% humidity again until May. So knowing I sit naturally at 16-25% in the winter, if I can get it up to 30-40%....I am happy as a pig in mud.
30-40 where im at now. Trying to keep it at 40% now but its been in the upper 30s. The growth is better since adding the humidifier
I have succumbed to spraying after seeing my veg cab consistently in the low 20s. I hate spraying if I don’t have to lol. Dude the QBs are awesome I finally got one and it’s only been a day and I don’t see myself going in any other direction lol the natural lighting color alone was worth it.
Yeah i prefer not to spray especially since the pm. The qb are definitely the way to go. I built up my cobs right when qb were coming out and people were experimenting with them. After seeing buck and shiggity i was sold. Better coverage then cobs means i could have built the same light set up i have now with qb at half the price i paid for cobs. I recomend qboards to everyone as they are the latest greatest tech and cheaper then the previous tech which is cob. Cobs are great but you need a lot inorder to achieve the same coverage. I love my lights but i would go qb next time for sure.
I'm not Tomula, so this is just my experience.
I use a temp controller for the vent fan and adjust the humidifier or dehumidifier seperately based on the 24 hour readings. For 3 years now.
The humidity is going to fluctuate 10-20% through the light/dark cycle anyway, so the few percent change when the vent fan runs doesn't seem that big an issue.
I have circulating fans running, and an open fresh air intake. Stale air doesn't seem to be an issue. I don't experience it as stale if I open the door during the dark cycle., but I'm a human who enjoys the 'stale' oxygen put out by plants
Hey thanks! +rep that was so easy i didnt even think of doin it that way.
I think im going to look for a vent fan temp controller, ive seen them for pretty cheap and when i get a proper humidifier ill make sure it has controls to set at the perfect humidity.
Here they are. Got trans today. New growth is kinda strange but i think its growing out of it.
