Honestly I've never had such vigorous growth in veg from any system. The only downside to the wilmas is cleaning the res. Not good when roots are through the support table. So it takes time. But imho I think the wilmas are a blank canvas to do with as you wish.
Edit: And you know what they say a big root system helps develop fatter buds.
Yes random its from cream of the crop and its a cross of white widow and chronic it's been a very good girl and so was high priorityYea its precisely all that messing about the reason I switched back to hydro from soil. And I did a bit of research that clarifies what you say about light on them. My system isn't just a top drip though. Its a sexy converted Wilma. Which is now a top drip rcdwc. As I made bigger holes so roots could hit the reservoir. So I've got 4 11 litre pots and a 30 litre res filled with roots pmsl. But yea I hate all the farting about transplanting from this to that. Has that white chronic got WW in it?
I use to build my own wilma systems and could add and remove tubs/buckets with ease . I pumped from main res up on too tables with trays and tubs on them and let the water drain back to the res . I still had air stone's in the res even tho the water poured back into the res I found my Wilma worked best when the pump was on 15mins on 15mins off . The roots would go mad because they got so much more air as the pebbles would draw air through them as the water drained out
a few pictures of a bud from high priority soon to be turned into ash
