Breaking Brix: Buck's DIYs

Had to stop working on light, trimmed up little over 7 oz's. That's 1st time I've weighed anything, nice surprise for 1 plant in a 7 gal pot.

It has smoother taste than last grow, but did wash this round.

A bountiful harvest buck! Buds look on point! Cant wait to see your light all done up!

I think im getting different growth under my vero29 3000k 90cri then the 3500k 80cri. More explosive compared to the 3500k 80cri. I turned the plants so the lower side catches up but i wont turn again. Want to see how the buds differ. Thinking of buying more 3000k 90cri and only using 4 3500k. Im having a hard time beilive 4 chips are doing that much better then the other 8

Is the different growth on same plant, or different plants. The 90's are little heavier on the reds. If you have them spaced good, 4 should be plenty in 4x4 with the 8 3500k's. I'll try to do some more research on it. All 90 cri works great but a good DE hps is just as efficient and cheaper. That's the only catch to using 90 cri. I have a few, thought about using some with my build

Its hard to say, there are so many variables. Trying to figure it out. All 4 90cri are in the middle so spacing is probably the issue!. Not too sure how to space them though, i have 4 rails with 3 cobs on each rail. Any ideas for best spacing?

All 4 plants in the 4x4 tent had the best growth under the 90cri but some branches were similar in size on the 80cri side. Just not as many as the 90 side. These plants are not topped just some LST if i remeber correctly so there is a possibility i put all 4 mains into the middle of my tent as they were probably bigger to begin with. I rotated my plants so the shorter side is under 90 cri. If there is a difference in bud quality and size then ill probably spring for more 90s or move the 4 that i have around.

This post is what is fueling my concerns.

If i could go back and rebuild from scratch i would go 3000k/90cri for the whole lot... No mixing at all. The only reason i added the 2700/90's to my build was that i wanted some more red in my spectrum.. The 3500/3000k to me is the best all-arounder chip there is.. As long as there 90cri..If you haven't been doing your homework on the cri battles going on, you should check them out..

These are citi clu048-1812's, left is 90cri,right is 80cri...both 3500k..
Same clone, res, temps, distance from canopy.. 90 side is coming down this week.. 80 will be another week or 2.. Guy says the 90 colas are bigger and denser.. And obviously faster.. He does par tests throughout the grow.. 80 has a higher par in 400-700 range, as he shows.. But the 90cri grows bigger, faster plants...
Heres the pic from this week..

If i were you i would get straight vero29's 3000 or 3500k 90cri and be done with it..
The pics say alot..
Cheers

I feel like I'm always being a jerk around here, but it sounds like your just freaking out. It's understandable. If I could just get these darn photos up on here, I could explain better why I would not worry about it. You are not going to see the difference in the time frame your looking at. It doesn't work that way. It'd have to be different runs in different rooms to understand how the lights are hitting your plants annd what effect the different spectrums provide. Hope I don't sound like an ass.

So to not look like a complete jerk here. Posting this on bucks time. Here is the list of stupid parts I need just to run my tests before I set up the new system. Plus... remind me that I need a dumb heatsink from rapid.

I haven't used the 80/20 yet, have few pieces but wasn't sure on brackets to hold cobs

That's what I'm doing... Hopefully. Why I needed two differnt systems to hold heatsinks. I'll make sure to show you the results of both systems. I just do not know if going with the slider WOULD be better than the t-nuts. This is nuts for me. I can't even get you the photos of the girls I can not give away here.. AND I just ripped my whole bathroom out. I can not believe living in Humboldt that people, I can't give a way these plants. It's nuts.
