Breaking Brix: Buck's DIYs

Thanks bob, I have been using garden safe 3-1, and few others. I keep grow off limits also, wife doesn't even know I grow lol. Its at a separate house 20 miles away, that's why I sprayed entire house. I gotta hit em again tonight, make 3rd day since last spray. I've only used organic stuff on plants, but sprayed walls and floor of tent with bayer suspend. Also added another fan the other day. I washed my first plant the other day, unknown auto, wish I've done this long time ago.

Thanks bob, I really appreciate the help, this site is a life saver. Next grow will be easier to handle, just 4 or 5 plants, using doc's kit. So there will be a lot of foliar spraying, which should help tremendously

The L angle is fine for me too, so easy to attach boards to. And the cheapest way to go for sure. I can get a 43" Beast frame built for under 50 bucks of 3/4 x 3/4 x 1/8"

The girls on day 30. Going to pop few seeds this evening. Going to pop 8, hopefully that will give me 4 females. Also flushed yesterday, my ph was getting high in the coco based soil.
 
Dude I don't know how your wife don't know you have an extra house and you have such a big garden lol what does she say when you all of the sudden are setting on a pound of some kill?

Although these drivers aren't as good as drivers in pre-assembled panels, I'm going to take a chance on using, lol

These will run the cob portion of my light, I have some 1050ma drivers for the Samsung boards. Got email Friday, my boards will be shipping Monday. Thinking about purchasing their controller also. Their controller has thermal protection, if one module overheats it will shut all modules down till cools off. Real nice safety design since cob lights aren't as safe as pre-assembled panels lol. That will give me 4 different ways of protection. Short circuit, thermal, gfci, and also use arc-fault breakers.

That would be one tough decision between that line up. Have not had sour strawberry but the kosher kush...should have called it Mike Tyson pine lol. Knocks you on your ass and tastes like pine lol.
 
Just got my other kit from doc

Also added the leaf wash and snake oil(way ahead).
Everything is in quarts except the snake oil. The bulk kit has everything for 4 runs with some liquid left over. Going to start cooking another batch of soil ASAP.

Also found out the size of my containers that I will be using, they are trade size #15, they hold 13.1 gal of soil. I hope I have enough soil to fill 4 up. But as of today my soil is ready. I have 4 cherry vanilla cookies, 3 huckleberry kush, and 1 sour strawberry soaking in water. Hopefully at least 3 will be female, I have 4 I won't start kosher kush till next batch of soil is ready, try to stagger finish times a little.

In few hours I'll have some new pics and ppfd numbers

No problem glad I can help.

You run a lot of lighting for 4-5 plants! I'm running 9 VERO 29 B versions so they are putting out a lot of lighting .. and another older COB array with 4 COBs so 13 total in an 4x8 space. I grow monsters.

Mites suck ass... you are never going to get rid of them ... sorry to say. I know cause I get em from time to time. It's part of this deal. I just bud washed my first plant today... I had aphids of all things... yuk. Those critters look worse than the mites under the microscope and why I washed em off. I may be bud washing all my plants now that I saw what comes off of them.

The Safer shit .... I don't spray my plants with it. The active ingredient is on the no use list for cannabis in a few states and Canada. Just an FYI.

The Neem and Monterrey garden spray with a little soap added in to emulsify the oil kicks them to the curb. Some of the neem oil pre-mix already has soap added for the emulsifier.


Your plants look really good too... very similar to mine .. getting tall and nice n green. I just checked one of my plants that has only been in flower for 35 days and she looks finished! First time this strain under COBs.... I've ran her lots of times, never finished this fast! So there's another benefit. Faster finish times.
 
I'll be lighting 30 sq.ft, my table is 25sq.ft plus a little overhang, 50w per sqft.

I checked my ppfd at canopy, I'm blasting between 1000 and 1100 ppfd at tops of my plants. Going to give a heavy feed tonight and some more mite control.

Past 2 days I've sampled the unknown auto. At around 3 in the afternoon, both times I was sleeping by 4. Idk why but it knocks me out lol. Taste is kind of earthy, might have to vape to try taste again. But it's stronger than I thought it would be.
 
1000 ppfd is that turned all the way up and how far from the canopy?

Missed this post and the strain selections. SO pumped you're going Dynasty...can't wait to follow along. Your grow skills plus that light plus Doc's kit plus those strains.........:slide:
