Brandon420's Living Soil 2022 Second Run

I was starting to wonder if you had forgotten us small time growers. Everything is looking 👀 good as usual my friend. :Namaste: :thumb::420:CL🍀
Been thinking about y’all the whole winter… just took some time to myself. Drove across the country, visited family, came back to full running hustle to make up for lost time. Now I’m back here 😁

Missed you all!!! Merry Christmas and most importantly, happy fucking new year!!!!
Here’s a little update for y’all, got theses babies moved over to the other greenhouse today to start them into flower and sex them out.
Can’t wait to update y’all on everything I’ve fell behind on updating y’all with (don’t worry, it hasn’t been too much considering the time of the year)

I see you have curtains and lights in there, excellent.
Ready for anything. :thumb:
And those ladies oh my.
Hope everything is going well.
Take care.

Absolutely ready for anything… taking advantage of the photoperiod we’re in during this late winter into early spring…. Running no lights or curtains. Just put the plants in there yesterday to naturally transition into flower. Easy peasy minimal labor.
Got a later start by a few weeks than planned…. So might have to pull curtains the last couple weeks if the days get too long.

The cement pad in the greenhouse gas pex tubing ran in a grid pattern encased in the cement… powered by a sump pump for flow and heated by the wood fire boiler seen right outside the greenhouse. Keeping the babies warm during this cold season

I knew when I saw the smoke that close you weren't having a campfire. :thumb:
I'm trying to turn on the radiant floor heating in my VIVOHUT right now.
Can't find a stat up here.
There is a bells and whistles one avaliable for a couple hundred plus tax.
All I need is something to turn it off, period end of story.
The GrowHub will control everything via my phone anyway.
Either way I have nice new empty solo cups ready to go , got to pop beans.
Take care my friend.

The best of luck to you!! Can’t wait to see the progress. Got a lot of thread catching up to do.

Beautiful grow man!
I miss Humboldt's micro climates.
I used to stay by Briceland for awhile, I loved growing plants there.
So many different microclimates, literally several on each property I’m at. The house is only .5 miles from the garden and there’s several climates in between… always 5-15 degrees cooler at the house than the garden. Some spots get hit with twice or more amounts of rain too on the same mountainside. Humboldt truly is crazy.

I love briceland/shelter cove area. Was just out in briceland couple days ago.
Thanks for joining!!

We have the same thing here in Hawaii. I'm close to the ocean... been doing an outdoor greenhouse perpetual grow for a few years now. The climate is very mild, but this winter has been adverse because of all the rainy, cloudy weather, which makes for low sunlight conditions and super high humidity. So, I've been battling leaf mold and bud rot. I have a Blue Dream hybrid from Humboldt that is doing well, and is my 2nd most mold-resistant strain. I actually had a fairly good harvest from her recently (2 plants). My best is a CBD pheno that I've found – a compact indica that essentially gets no mold of any kind. She's got a strong grape-like odor and high resin production. One of these days I'll get a terpene test for that one.

I've got a thread going... a quest for mold-resistant strains... link below if you'd like to check it out. If you've got any ideas for super mold resistant strains, I'm all ears. I'm looking for indica, sativa, and hybrid.

happy growing! :ciao:

what a neat project. Got some friends that frequent Hawaii often… actually their home island… them and a few others dream of growing in Hawaii considering the perfect 12/12 days for depping without tarps.

Good luck on your path to mold resistant genetics I’ll follow along

thanks :-) The shortest night of the year is on summer solstice, 10.7 hours. Most photos will flower here year round, as soon as they're mature. I use night interruption lighting in my veg house.
