most are awesomely fast.
Pages with images uploaded in the first days after migration are still bad for me - including this page of my journal. (maybe thats to do with the resizing thing you mentioned yesterday - ie that not all those had been (optimised yet.)

additionally, I did all those tests of it with my VPN off because whenever I’m behind it all page loads with media on 420 are bad. Is there something about the software that doesn’t play nicely with VPN protocols? It doesn’t cause me problems like that on other sites.

And FYI - the page I linked to above is super slow with the VPN off - just so you don’t think that’s causing the issue. I’m testing with it off.

Hmmm, see that doesn’t seem logical to me. If the system can ‘see’ that you’re up to date in a thread (which it can) then it should take you to the most recent page - is how I see it (others may like it the way it is - but many don’t).
This is actually the reason I’ve been suggesting that the timestamp info on the thread list in mobile view be made green link text - cause it is a link, and it’s a useful one for getting around that issue (and it’s a green link on my iPad and desktop).

Will run a page tracert for you in in a while - not at my deskto currently.

I have no opinion on whether or not tables should be allowed under the new software. I can work around it by using an image of the table. However you wish to move forward, the tables previously entered should be properly displayed.

Allowing tables decreases server loads by a fraction so small as to be meaningless. However, this also extends another means of expression to users capable of embracing it. PUNT! It's in your court :theband:

Also, animated smiles, at least sometimes, are grouped. I'd like to break them up and use them separately.

Loaded fast for me

I know he is testing some new things and found so errors they fixed or will fix related to speed
Plus all the older pics, before yesterday, will get resized after a script is written

It's for sure better...less jumbled texts from my phone last couple days

We do plan to add an advanced editor script that does tables, coming soon.

Not sure what we can do with smilies, that's at the end of a really long list.

Page loaded fast for me, could have been either your ISP, resources, modem, router, or the ongoing issue with server resources maxing out with this bug we found, hopefully resolved by tomorrow when the rest of our team gets back to work.

Thanks, Yup could of been a PP (personnel problem) but wanted to mention it in
case there were others seeing the same, But looks like it was only on my end so
probably not a 420 issue ?
 
Oh, and seeing a new thread on here made me think of something that happened earlier today.

I'm on the latest release of Mozilla Firefox (Win 7)

The cursor in the text box was jumping all over the place. Almost like it was scanning, but it only stopped long enough to appear to be random. It also included the settings at the top of the posting window box (bold, italics, etc).

Only happened once, so far. Didn't last long about 4-5 seconds.

Just posting for information.

So when I went back to attempt my post a second time, what I had typed was still there!! Even tho I had navigated off that page :) I was able to post but I still could not select pictures to include with the post.
