Kon'nichiwa!

A little mini update from the Bamboo Forest. This morning we were feeling kinky and engaged in some Shibari with Anita. Removing some of the fan leaves blocking lower growth, and tying her lower branches to spread her out and open her up for the net.

Honey was topped for the first time at the 5th or 6th node. The first node is pretty much at the perlite, and she grew sideways and only turned up when she reached the side of the container. Girl likes to lounge in the sun, and I don't blame her.

Keep it classy 420, over and out.

Guten Tag der 420 landwirts!

Life's been crazy and we haven't had time to update as often as we'd like, but the girls keep growing anyways. We've been adjusting Anita's ropes keeping all her growth moving outward under the net as much as possible. She seems to have found her new res and vegetative growth is taking off again after a few slow days above the perlite.

We transplanted Honey to her final 5 gallon home using the same method we used for Anita. She pretty much super cropped herself trying to decide which way was up when she sprouted which is pretty cool. She's growing at an incredible pace and has pretty much caught up to Anita. The sharp eyed will notice some leaf damage, there was a small incident with the shop vac, don't worry it wasn't bugs.

Keep it classy 420mag!

Nggoleki 420mag Tani!

We've turned on the other 2 lights! Anita is growing fast, we're busy tucking / supercropping her training that canopy along the net. Honey has been looking a little sad from the transplant, but is showing renewed vigor as of this morning. We fim'd all her tops so there will be lots of branches to tuck when she takes off again.

Given that the feeding mishap put us a few weeks off schedule, we're pretty happy with where the girls are at. Thanks for stopping by fam!

Keep it classy 420.

xin chào 420 nông phu!

Another update from the bamboo forest coming at ya! These girls are cruising smoothly, drinking 1.5 gallons each of solution every 48 hours. At this rate I'm gonna be a full time nute mixer pretty soon when they are drinking that everyday.

We're clearing out the leaves and branches under the canopy of both girls a little at a time 2x a day. The holes on this screen are pretty big so we've had to use our chopsticks to help train Anita, it's more fun to eat with your hands anyways right?

At this rate we should be ready to flip in about 2 more weeks. It's been a long slow veg, so GIANT thanks to those brave souls who've stuck it out with us and are still along for the ride.

Hope y'all have some fun today! We're gonna go get some Phở and Bánh Mì and have a little picnic with the girls.

Stay classy 420.

Dumela mma!

Welcome back to another episode of Brah's eternal veg journal. After the last update we noticed Anita showing some signs of nute excess. Both girls got flushed with 15 gallons of 100degF water, then reset with a fresh reduced solution. Many thanks again to @FelipeBlu for your assistance calculating our new potions.

This old man is finally had the time to relearn the math to calculate solutions for myself and am working on learning excel to keep track of it all in spreadsheets. Why isn't this info more available on the internet in a form regular dummies can understand? I found so many articles and calculators that were either way too complex or way too simple to be of any use. Now that I have an understanding of that I can make some more progress on our Hempy For Dummies Poster!

The bamboo forest sisters are doing great otherwise. Lots of new growth everyday. We will be switching to flower by the 24th of October at the latest, That would put our harvest date around Jan 10th.

Stay classy 420!

@raziel819 thanks mate! Starting to get impatient, can't wait to see them in flower.

I got a trial of Adobe premiere, dropped all the photos in there, and did file-export media-animated gif. It was actually pretty easy. If you make one and need a hand shoot me a message. Always happy to help a friend. Bless up!

Hootie Whoooo! Hootie Whoooo!

Yo yo yo 420mag amigos. Today we decided that we can't wait any longer, and switched the lights to 12/12. The canopy is getting too dense in the middle, we've super cropped the shoots vying for light dominance multiple times, and shoots... nobody wants to wait any longer to see these girls come into their beauteous maturity.

Honestly with my dinky little lights this smaller footprint will probably produce a better ratio of high quality flower.

There were some gnarly potholes and big rocks on this veg road we just travelled, but we learned a lot. Next time we will get plants 2x this size in a similar veg time. Anita looks like she has about 60 some flowering sites and Honey has about 30 so if the gods shine their favor on us for the next 65-75 days it should be a good show.

Bless up friends. Keep it classy 420.

Howdy Einstein! Solved the theory yet?

Hows it hangin my 420 weed geniuses. The bamboo forest garden is cruisin one speed right now. We love the growth explosion that comes with the first weeks after the switch to 12/12. We're tucking a few branches along the outer edges still, but for the most part we're letting the girls be girls right now.

They will probably get a good defoliation in the next week or 2 to expose all the growth sites to MAXIMUM light, and to improve airflow and reduce condensation. I've noticed some water on a few of the leaves when the lights come back on. The indoor growers war on the dew point never ends does it?

Hope ya'all readin this here journal are happy and healthy.
Keep it classy 420.
