Borealis Basin Autos - With Phobos

Very pretty bud there! Time for the cure...the longest wait...

Yeah.. Due to reasons beyond my comprehension. There wont be a cure really.
Funny thing is, even though it is just now dry. And this may just be personal bias.:tokin:
It is smoother than anything I purchased at dispensaries, gets me there faster and longer too.

I bought a lot of variety from a few different places when I was on vacation in Seattle. They all claimed a year of cure, it was fire. So much fire.

Alrighty then! :lot-o-toke:

I finished trimming the rest of the Cream Mandarin XL. Ended up with 79g on top of the other 32g. Aww yuss!!

Moving on:high-five:

The Night Queen was harvested afterwards. I expect maybe two ounces from it altogether.

Making Progress!:slide:

Kickass - Kannabia seed company

I didn't have room for this one.
I thought it would stay small. I was wrong. Very very wrong.
Anyways, this is a less than one gallon container.
She is very lanky, but may produce and extra ounce.

Seattle is fun for weed. I am a bit south of Seattle and enjoy the low prices and good product.
Most of the commercial growers around here go right to the bag after drying. Kind of sad because some of the stuff would be so much tastier with a good cure. Then again, most of the ounces I see are about a month or two old from harvest when purchased.
One of my concerns here in WA is that prices have gotten so low (some places $1 a gram) that growing becomes more expensive. I will continue to grow because I want the best quality and I love to watch my plants grow. It is nice though when homegrown is all gone that I can get a $100 OZ and still get a decent medicine.

I got some Dutch Treat there as a mainstay. I shopped around a bit and got an ounce for $100.
I think I have pics somewhere. I ended up leaving some with my bnb host.

Most of the other places I visited like the Lux were really expensive. $10-$15/g but I may have just gotten the tourist treatment.
Mrs.A found a drink called Legal that we both enjoyed a great deal.

10/10 would do again.

I didn't take pictures of all the strains I had. Just to stoned the whole time.:tokin:

This weekend has been a busy one. :bong:

I just topped my two CMXL autos. They have 4 nodes, and are still pretty short.
My 300w led is pretty intense so I've been raising it a few inches every day.
Using the factory recommended distance, has been keeping them stunted at first.
The temps in that area of the tent never gets above 79*f. :riskybusiness:

The 600w led is at the tip top of the tent now. :;):
Temps have jumped up in the top area where Kickass is, so I am just using flower mode with it.:hippy:
Added a few cfls in the 3000k-3500k spectrum.:smokin:

I have a few pics that are a day or two old.

Ugh.

I decided to Lst my Bloody Skunk and Trainwreck, using the bowl method.
Just to give a bit of distance between colas. Gives it a bushy composure.

I ripped a branch out of its node.
It didn't completely come off so I bound it the best I could.
Incidentally I super cropped the same branch after getting it back together.:sorry:

I have my fingers crossed for improvement. Pictures tomorrow afternoon.
Hopefully she will bounce back.:adore:

:Smoke Report:

Night Queen by Dutch Passion

It is mostly Indica, and it shows.:trance:

It started out bad compared the the CMXL.
I put it in used dirt that I had flushed thoroughly.
The growth seemed stunted so I changed pot and soil.

I took a test nug out of the drying cabinet a few days early.
It spent most of the day hanging next to my pc power supply.:bong:

It is sooooo good. I was gonna take a pic, but it's gone now. :blunt:

Pics from tonight.

The tent is doing well. I don't know if that branch I tore out is going to make it.
I took a leaf to compare decomposition. :geek:
The branch is doing much better, that may be due to holding more water before the trauma.

Poor thing is droopy.

The twins are doing well after the top. It looks like a really close fim, so blargh.

Ah Phobos, I feel for ya man. :sorry: It's almost like losing your own appendage.

Your buds look killer! I can almost smell them! You have the touch, for sure.

Sub'ing in to learn from an Auto master. :passitleft:

:Namaste:

Welcome! I am still new to the game!
Only a year now with them and it's been remarkable for sure.
I've had some nice plants and some that were left wanting.

I lurked long before I took it serious.
Most of the qualities that have merit in my grow, are great flattery.
Meaning, after using the ideas and already proven methods documented on 420.
I am doing the best I can do with what I have.

:thankyou::passitleft:

Cue the dystopian synth beats. :smokin:
John Carpenter has some nice things in this department.

Alrighty then.

The autos are doing well.
My lovely Sweet Seeds auto-quartet bask in the deep red hue of blurple-less-ness. :hmmmm:

Feeding and watering are always fun.:MoreNutes:
So we all had fun tonight.:thedoubletake:

The torn branch was removed and surgery was performed.:phew:
I am not hoping to clone it, just keep it fed as en experiment. :geek:
Just to see, since I wouldn't do it on purpose.

Mmmm Trainwreck! One of my favorites.

The Bloody Skunk is stunning! :yummy: Is that a sativa-dom?

The CMXLs are looking great after the topping! :thumb: Aren't they about a month now? No sign of pistils yet, huh?

I look forward to the Trainwreck experience.

The Bloody Skunk is as follows. :geek:

Variedad SWS44
Indica: 62,4% / Sativa: 32,9% / Ruderalis: 4,7%

Day 25*
There are a few pistils now on the CMXLs*. :tokin:
They just didn't make those pics.;)

Phobos, what are you growing in? I saw clay hydroton in a couple photos, but mostly a soil-like mix. Bagged, or something you put together?

All are looking fantastic! :goodjob: :thumb:

I had a dwc grow in Oct but it was constructed poorly and produced a very airy Krippleberry bush.

Currently I use, Fox Farm Ocean Forest with nothing added.

So, I recently started using 2g softpots to conserve soil and space.
On my last soil grab, I needed new drip trays and the local store was out.
I bought some that were to shallow at the bottom.

I had some clay hydroton from my failed dwc grows.
Adding two-three inches of it in the bottom of the deep trays elevated the pots.
So, the drip trays now fit.

I have read that it is generally a bad idea to do this.
Due to mold, and the roots turned out to grow thru the bottom of the pot.

When I water now I have to leave them in full assembled like that now. :surrender:
The root damage may slow them down, so I am careful with water/food.
Last night I watered, and the clay was fully submerged
When I took pics earlier before posting it was dry.
The roots drank it all up.:thankyou:
