Boptang Fems Test Run

Yes, both of the BCP crosses are growing like crazy. Not to take anything from the boptang, they are growing very nice as well.
Nice! Looks like I might need to remake this one in the future! :slide:
Good to hear that man. The lineage is such that i truly dont know what to expect either. I aint been this excited about a seed drop for a while.
I think you popped the perfect amount to check the line, and see a few females. That way you know what to look for if you wanna use a male later down the road.

Chomping at the bit now to drop these but I have the legal limit going here now with 4, luckily the photos and autos should finish around the same time, once they do I'm dropping 2 of each @Kitchenhawk !

Happy growing!

Them babies are loving life! Lookin' healthy AF!
:welldone:

Have to admit I am a little surprised myself considering the soil is a mix of what I had left over from previous runs.

Have only given them plain water this far.
Thanks for the compliment.

It's amazing what reused soil or grow medium can do for another round of plants. I tossed pepper seedlings in some 7 gallon pots from my first indoor grow. They had coco/perlite and whatever was left over from the organic dry amendments I had used. I didn't use any additional nutes all summer for those plants and they grew and produced very well for just having plain tap water. With that being said, one of the pots must have been pretty heavily over fed with the 4-4-4 all purpose during my grow because my Thai chili plant was a wild shade of dark green, although still very healthy.

Gals are looking great by the way! :thumb:

They are looking great Overlord!!

Thank you, hoping and working to get to your level of OG grow status.

Nice Overlord! Your tent is dialed in for sure. Those babies are exploding. :goodjob:

Thanks, much easier when not having to hide in the shadows.

Fantastic results in just one week!!!

What's your secret? :)

No secret, just the soil and water doing its thing.

@ProfessorFlora reused soil for his "7 Wonders of the World" grow ... I am planning to do the same thing with FFOF.

Did you add in any supplements?

What I did was this.
When I decided to try out the octopots, I mixed a bail of promix hp with a 30 pound bag of EWC. Grew some NL, but it seemed to be lacking something. I used 4 times 6 gallon pots that run. Had a little more than half left over, so I added two cubic foot of Quoddy lobster compost. (Also added perlite per octopots recommendation. )

On this grow I ordered the new 12 gallon pots for the octos. I measured with a 1 gallon nursery pot and they held 16 gallons each. So I was short on soil, I added some 3rd run soil from Doc Buds high brix, which was about 25% of the mix.

When I put the seedlings in the pots, I watered with mychorr plus at the rate of of 1 teaspoon per 2 gallons of water.

Since then just plain water from the octo reservoir.

The soil in the "7 Deadly Strains" grow is on its third use now. @InTheShed suggested recycling soil to me some time around March and I've only purchased a couple bags of cheap (non cannabis specific) soil since. It's probably saved me around £100. I took it one step further for my last grow and added 2/3 corse sand as I had no way near enough soil for what I had planned. The risk paid off and I'll be adding sand to my mixes in the future as I believe that it improved the airflow around the roots giving me more vigorous plants

OMG ... now it's the "7 Deady Strains" grow ... I can't keep up ... lmao

Awesome ... like I was saying in your "Magnificent 7" grow ... (hell yeah I'll be posting that over on your thread within the next few minutes) ... :)

Cool ... like a sandbox sand or coarser? Sand must have some interesting qualities.

Why sand? Were ya hitting the strong stuff? :) Or did you read about that somewhere?

Your Welcome,

I should add that when using the mychorr plus, I used grocery store spring water. As per instructions the water must not have any chlorine.

Also I stopped using RO water due to what I percieved to be added issues. Since my local water supply uses chloramine, I switched to filtering through a large berkey water filter.

I was still hesitant to use it due to mixed reviews online, but so far no issues. I also purchased the filters to remove flouride and arsenic.
