He told me he went to the store immediately after I left him ....so more like 30 minutes! Sorry about the woes in your garden... I am confident the breaker switch will solve the problem in the grow room, but am afraid it's gonna be a LONG HOT SUMMER! Is it Monday??? They all seem to run together lately :cheesygrinsmiley:

I guess I shoulda felt cool with 98, 104 wtf lol.

Does that mean it hits 140 in summer?

re: Boomer444's 2013 Indoor & Outdoor Grows

I seen 115 here last year, plants didnt seem to care lol.

Everything in my yard has actually been growing a insane amount this past week, the heat is doing it I think.

re: Boomer444's 2013 Indoor & Outdoor Grows

I've been here in the 120's but have been in 130 in Bullhead City

So true...much better for arthritis

We're all good:cheesygrinsmiley:

Saw 119 a few summers back in Phoenix. Had 108 up here last summer.

Much rather have the hot and dry over the cold and wet we're supposed to have the next couple of days. Starting off as rain before changing over to 3" to 6" of the white stuff. 1' to 2' over 8000'. :thedoubletake: :rolleyes3

Snow in summer? ( well, spring) That's why I live on the "flat lands". 50 years ago, we couldn't figure out a way to push water uphill for the vines. Now that they have drip lines, they grow vines on hills a billygoat can't climb. I just have to put up with Valley Tule fog in the winter. :thumb:

Quick drive by. I see you talking Bullhead City. I think god forgot about that little corner of the world. Just lucky man made that dam or there woodn't be any life there. I didn't see any picture update for afew pages back but hope they all are doing great. Keepem Green

Things are looking great Hoz!

All your outside stuff is exciting. I think Phoenix would be great for outdoor if you can keep them wet enough.

I have been a little lax in my journal surfing lately myself...there are other things I have to deal with at the moment so I do the best I can. I don't want to snub anyone.

Ditto :Namaste:

At nearly 6000' of elevation, it can snow here almost any time. Only August has no measurable snow on record. April is one of the snowiest.

Hey H did your AC do any damage to your electric bill? I just purchased me one and it has a timer on it so Im not going to run it all the time. Just when the temps go up pass 80. Just trying to get a figure of what ill be looking at. Its a 115v 15amp
I haven't got it yet, any day now...My new home unit may offset the additional use of that unit, but I also added a 400w MH in the tent. So I may get a BIG surprise...hopefully not. :cheesygrinsmiley:

re: Boomer444's 2013 Indoor & Outdoor Grows

no such thing as a dry heat when your sweating your ass off!! lol i love the cold, but as i grow more and more decrepit the cold is making my arthritic joints like it less and less so i either sweat like a rain bird sprinkler and suffer miserably or hurt and suffer up to the point where i can barly move, catch 22, so i liv where its cheap and i get both situations,, is there a place on earth thats 70f all year???

re: Boomer444's 2013 Indoor & Outdoor Grows

I think the paper thingy showed with this A/C, 6500 btu should run about $48 a year, @ 10.6 cents per kw. YMMV. I only used it on Sunday when I went to church. he he

That's actually good I have a 8000 btu. I may run it every 30 minutes for 12 hrs on GLR light schedule. Hopefully that save me some change.

re: Boomer444's 2013 Indoor & Outdoor Grows

Took a walk out to the back to see my other group of girls...sticky flowers...all are in some form of budding...so I guess I'll have a little more to get me through the summer. It's hard to concentrate on my girls with all the other distractions. We are at day 51 since flip in the tent...looking very tasty and I think the 5 girls are going to produce at least 1g/watt which I used for a target. :cheesygrinsmiley:
